Lady O was asking for roughly ten million for her political "tell all" book...
If it's more focused on Steve Bannon and quite oblique about our POTUS
then I'd assume she'd perhaps end up getting maybe $2,000,000.oo for it.
She is intelligent enuff so that she does not need a full time ghostwriter...
Dude... I honestly think unlike ole Andy Johnson, who did not get convicted at his Senate Trial, Donald John Trump will be booted out of office if he further alienates Mitch McConnell. I think the reason Mitt Romney is trying to secure Orrin Hatch's seat stems from how close many good folks in the GOP are to voting with the Democrats. William Seward kept Andrew Johnson in office. If Trump abuses Senator Mitch once again, things may not end up as a 55 to 45 or possibly 45 to 55 vote. 60 senators is the magic number in terms of this all...

@Aratus
To clarify: McConnell may not remain Majority Leader even if the Republicans keep the majority, I am extremely skeptical of the "Blue Wave", I think it will turn out to be a "Blue Drip".

The Senate could flip but the House might see the GOP emerge with a narrow margin.
The assumption is that the newer voters who are young and only recently politically
active will vote Liberal and not sit things out. The Koch Bros are said to have a huge
200 to 400 million dollar capacity for mischief. Campaign kitty? Anyway, we know how
far moneybombing gets one. Rand I feel quit things a tad early in 2016, is 2020 his year?
I most happily read both Zippy and our Liberty Hobbit a few years back.
They seldom were on the same page. I was there when Kludge quipped
that the Rand Paul forum was the "kiddie" forum with its parental controls.
In the 2012 election, when polling was done for the general election, if one was over the age of 30, things
were a 50/50 toss up between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. The voters aged 18 to 30 tended to vote
for Obama. This is six years later. The assumption is that the younger voters will turn out in droves, but if
they don't, this helps the GOP. Admittedly the clothespin on the nose rule of thumb governs much of this.
I was away from things after Rand had dropped out. Are
you telling me that Matt Collins has gained in both wisdom
and seniority to the degree where he has the respect of
many on these forums, since his staying power is legendary?
I actually told him to seek office in Tennessee and to do with
the steps that would take him to D.C, on the hope that he'd
be more direct and honest with us all than most of the political
hacks out there. Many of the members who joined in 2007 and
2008 were very idealistic and had a moral code. Over time, great
issues fell by the wayside and incessant squabbles became the
norm. A presidential run if carried through on maybe might
bring some of us back into the fray, hopefully. Eventually. maybe.
Normally 2016 would have seen JEB Bush debating Hillary in the fall.
Ross Perot came close to fragmenting both political parties. DJT has
unified the Democrats and split the Republicans, this is like a repeat
of what destroyed the Whig Party in the 1850s. In the fall there may be
Libertarians who survive the "blue wave" or even honest conservatives.
