    Its not even sad that McCain said that, its sad that he thinks people take him seriously enough for him to even think it carries any meaning to anybody in this country.

    Rand really is threading the needle there. Maybe they let him stay just for the optics - you know so it looks like there's some kind of democratic debate.

    He's there because they can't take him out in a primary. He's there because McConnell needed Rand's support to win re-election.
