I was reading somewhere that the CDC states that cotton cloth sewn together can be as effective as body armor.

Not since the Greeks.. long ago.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Whatever the CDC states, regardless of what the topic is, my immediate reaction is to think it's bullsht.

Gonna hurt,, but very nice armor just the same.. I like that it doesn't bunch up.

That makes no sense to me. Body armor protects a person without affecting anyone else.

Let me help... Body armor can inhibit the State's ability to kill you when they come to take your liberty.

I think all modern day police wear body armor as part of their uniform. It seems that a private citizen should have the right to choose! What about all those children? If I had a school age child I would want them to go to school with a bullet proof helmet and body armor. Heck everybody was wearing mandatory masks for an unreal threat. What about all those mass murderers and white supremacist terrorists out there just waiting to kill you? If a mask is good a bullet proof vest and helmet is even better! This is not a one size fits all solution!

I am not allowed Self Defense.

Prohibited applies to much more than guns.
