Awesome! We should find out who's going to be his VP soon.

I voted for him as VP, along with Chuck Baldwin for president in '08. I probably will write him again for '16. There's no Constitution Party in California, only AIP.

I voted for them too! I did not recognize the name...

I wonder. what do you suppose that he would say, if he was asked what amendments he supports past the tenth?

I imagine he isn't a big fan. I did a quick google search of his VP running mate, Scott N. Bradley of Utah and came up with a LDS rant against voting for crappy candidates (D&R). Mormon theology is like a foreign language to me, but I like his attitude in general.

There was and alternative candidate forum at Vanderbilt in 2008 on the same night the Presidential debates were at Belmont University. Castle was there. He got a lot of applause from the very diverse audience. Candidates were from every other party, so the debate included the Socialist, Green, Constitution, Tea Party (a separate thing from what we know today) and some other groups. I was happy to see a man of faith who was unafraid to talk about liberty ideas. I think a lot of the students there was a little surprised that liberty is what they believe in.

"If I am elected president, I will first of all get out of the super-national authority, the United Nations," Castle said.

He also vowed that he would have the US leave NATO and promised to "end the Federal Reserve".

He added: "[We'll have] a different monetary system. By that I just mean - no more going to the king's table for his scraps. No more crying and begging for an audit of this bank, please-tell-us-what-you-did-with-our-money kind of thing," he said.

Castle, 67, also said he would deal with state debt in order for the US to stop being "a slave to the creditors" - but did not elaborate on how he would do that.

I do not know anything about him but if he was a serious candidate then I would not have just wasted a half hour of my f**ing time trying to figure out where he stands on issues and come up empty. 2016 and he does not have a campaign website?

(mod edit due to split thread)

    * Also, I have effectively retired from all social media including posting here and are basically opting out of anything to do with national politics or this country on federal or state level and rather focusing locally. I may stop by from time to time to discuss philosophy on a general level related to Libertarian schools of thought and application in the real world.

He didn't decide to run until last week. Be patient. He has his website where you can read his writings and listen to his podcasts if you are really curious.

That is way more than enough time where he could have at least delegated to someone to put up a list of positions on his existing website or a 2016 campaign website.

I've back filled some tags for Darrell, he's been in the RPFs radar since 2008; not much since then however.

    Any relation to THIS Castle??

There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.

Scott Bradley is his running mate:

“I don’t think that there will be any curtailing of Donald Trump as president,” he said. "He controls the media, he controls the sentiment [and] he controls everybody. He’s the one who will resort to executive orders more so than [President] Obama ever used them." - Ron Paul
