How do I go about finding a new primary care physician that has Libertarian values? Preferably, one in the northwest suburbs of chicago with Northwestern Medicine. More than willing to change healthcare systems as long as my insurance (BC/BS) works.
Ask if they take cash or barter.

I didn't think I'd find the answer here and I haven't so far but, there's always the chance. There must be a way to find a doctor that respects the fact that it's your body and not the healthcare systems.
You have to get away from the "Healthcare System" to find what you need. You also need to do your own research on how to stay healthy and what works for you.

You will have to pay that doctor out of your own pocket if you want that. If insurance pays, insurance is the customer.

You're not asking for a libertarian primary care if you're looking for one who accepts insurance.
Try screening using other terms and you might be more successful?
Any way you go about using modern medicine you'll be dealing with a doctor who has to carry mal-practice insurance so what he's permitted to do under law and by common procedure are limited.
Then you qualify your search in a geographically socialist environment.....
Don't you think if such a unicorn existed there that some state or federal agency would be knocking on his door the moment he was discovered?

Looks to me, like the educational system is rigged to keep anybody who is not a liberal from becoming a physician.
Follow this guy's general dietary and physical health advise, he may have something specific related to your condition if you have any. Obviously a youtube doctor can't do everything, but he may be able to keep you healthy enough to avoid having to go to a doctor.

Doctors are to health as police are to crime.
They show up after to take information and send it to some 3rd party, where you may or may not ever hear anything back that helps you.
Seems evident from the past few years, doesn't it? I imagine that, since they are worshipped for their careers and ostracized for questioning anything, it becomes an easy choice to just, go along to get along -- at least for the alarming number of people who are able to work on cadavers without quitting.

Thank you, unfortunately the only listing for Illinois is a for a chiropractor but, I'll keep my eye on it. The site you linked is exactly what I am looking for and couldn't find. It's probably being filtered out by google, a different topic.
