so what does a premeditated political stunt like this cost in secret service hours?
'We endorse the idea of voluntarism; self-responsibility: Family, friends, and churches to solve problems, rather than saying that some monolithic government is going to make you take care of yourself and be a better person. It's a preposterous notion: It never worked, it never will. The government can't make you a better person; it can't make you follow good habits.' - Ron Paul 1988

Well, I just happen to disagree with u. I think capitalism when mixed with imperialism is the greatest evil system in human history.
Lol, I laugh every time you guys says taxation is slavery but I never actually thought anyone believe that crap. But hey, if you believe that the US was fighting slavery in Chile then I think there is something wrong with you.
Lol, Fidel and Che made everyone in Cuba a slave. You lose credibility every time you make cartoonish replies like this to me. I don't even know what to say but SMDH.
Btw, I completely understand that you would rather live in the bosom of a Jihadi loving, country destroying, globalist like Kristol or Graham. the truth is that most people are just like you and few people would willingly choose to get their hands dirty to fight evil. That is essentially why I like people like Che and have his avatar instead of that of Kristol, he could have taken the easy way out but they choose to fight.
Socialism terrorizes its own. Imperialism extends its benevolent reach:

Another mark of a tyrant is that he likes foreigners better than citizens, and lives with them and invites them to his table; for the one are enemies, but the Others enter into no rivalry with him. - Aristotle's Politics Book 5 Part 11
I was going to come back at you with something witty and bitty but I have decided to be the bigger man and restrain myself. I know its not dementia but rather you seeing an opportunity to throw insults my way and you took it. Yes English is not my first language but even you know that I understand how to use singular and plural words in simple sentences. Heck, you have seen me use that same phrase before where I wrote woemen instead of woeman so you must have known that it was a typo on my part.
Anyway, being the bigger man that I am, I will stop now. Have a good day
Well. You are wrong and isn't debatable. Communist governments killed 100 million of their own people in the 20th Century. Capitalism has helped cut world poverty in half over the last 30 years. Capitalism is the only moral system.

That isn't cartoonish. That is true. Here is from just this weeks New York Times using the word slave to describe doctors there. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/29/w...rs-revolt.htmlOriginally Posted by juleswin

So now Pence is a much of an idiot as the kneelers. Big shock.
He was in Vegas. Just a short flight from there to LA- his other destination. Instead they fly east to Indy, stop by the game for an hour or two and back on the plane westward. That adds a bit of money too. The security detail is going to be paid no matter where he goes but Indy probably added some local security for the visit.
I have seen estimates of the plane they used costing $42,000 an hour. 2.5 hours from Vegas to Indy and then 3.5 hours to LA (plus time prepping and on the runway). http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-p...htmlstory.html

Pence was supposedly there to honor Peyton Manning having his number retired at halftime but he didn't stick around to see it so there wasn't any point to going to the game in Indy. He could have protested the protests in LA (Rams were a home game).

Rumors Peyton will run for office. I hope not. I want him to buy the Titans and clean house there.

Sports should go back to gladiators and chariots. Pull all grant money too, then maybe I'll care if a politician makes an empty gesture like leaving early. He's a veepee, shouldn't Pence be in a bunker somewhere safe if Trump dies on a pretzel?
I wonder if any team owners or NFL brass were catching a ride on Pense's airplane.
Kind of like the Klan nazis and the BLMers riding in on the same bus at Charlottesville.
A sick, symbiotic relationship.
How 'bout we get politics & the flag out of sports altogether?
Don't need a weather man to know which way the wind blows
You would be right about that. He would have to come up a few dozen IQ points to make idiot. He doesn't have anything to say beyond attention seeking behavior. His personal experience is so far from a typical black experience, it's almost laughable. He is the picture of privilege. Give me a break.

Have you ever checked your IQ score? there are centers around the country that would give you a proctored test for a small fee. Just saying
Also, his personal experience doesn't matter, he empathizes with the people he thinks are being oppressed by the police. I do the same thing with people who are experiencing war even though I have never seen a day of war in my life. If you are one of those people that cannot put yourself in another man's shoes, then there is something seriously wrong with you.
Kaepernick's empathy doesn't extend to his wallet or his personal time, I note. Not really sure what he's empathizing about. Michael Brown is not a martyr. Kaepernick might do better to try to seek some common ground and reconciliation rather than creating more division.

Colin Kaepernick announces he will donate $1 million to charities
Well, I think his protest is not about one particular person but just his general belief that police are oppressing people of color and he has decided to fight against this in his own way. There is no official way to show empathy, at first you are frustrated because you can only do so much and secondly you just do what feels right to you.
