At the Half Buffalo 11 - 16 shooting from 2 point FG's , Arizona 15 of 26 for 2 point FG's . Buffalo leads 40 - 38 and holds a 19 - 13 rebound advantage .
St B has a very crisp defense. Very structured.

Pac 10 about to finish 1 - 11 in bowl games and ncaa tournament . Utah won a bowl game . With 1:11 to play Buffalo gets 45th point off Three pointers meaning Arizona is done ( 89 -64 ) . None of the Arizona starters will be back next yr .

I think we have the first real upset . Wichita State falling . The rest were just not very good teams getting beat . Some of them should not even have been invited .
No spoilers, please. One of the supervisors said Arkansas lost. Watching Lipscomb v UNC as if. Lipscomb is a hometown school. We drive by it on the way to church.

Obama picked Az to win it all . I took Buffalo to beat them . He may be on the tournament selection committee .
Danke is done for the year now filling in for the Providence Mascot .
An undeserving Auburn squeaks by . Michigan St , not sharp defensively give up a 56 percent three point percentage to Bucknell . Bucknell misses 7 free throws , loses by four . Both teams under 11 Turnovers for the game , MSU with 10 and Bucknell with 8 , Bison lose the rebound battle of course 28 to 40 .
Virginia not very impressive first half .
TCU dragging .
Butler a little free with the turnovers today , but otherwise one of the better looking teams today . Good from beyond the arc , good at the free throw line and masters of the boards .
Virginia outscored 24 - 8 in the second half opening 8 1/2 minutes . Down 16 with 11 1/2 to play .

8 1/2 to go , I guess if UNBC gets to 63 points they win . Up 50 - 37 now
7 minutes to go , Virginia out rebounded 26 - 18 , 4 of 8 from the free throw line and only four assists .
Yeah, I think they can read the handwriting on the wall.
It's really not about the most talented team. It's about who is more fit and who plays smarter. Coachabilty is everything. I never heard of UMBC until today, but it is lovely to see a team play a dream game like this one.

I think Xavier , Cincy and Nova are probably feeling pretty good right now . Xavier played no defense today but when you put up a 100 I guess it was not needed .
Virginia , 41 point swing , favored by 20 1/2 , lose by 20 . Wonder if that is a record ?

That was the best trouncing I've ever witnessed. We had two tvs going at my buddy's house, when we paused the one and were glued to that game. I'm not even a basketball fan, but I actually felt that one. That was like the nerdy kid always getting bullied, taking judo lessons, creaming the big dumb jock, then taking the bully's shades, his girl, and mustang.
