Spilled Coffee on laptop , no more sound.

I turned it off and dried it our or a couple hrs yesterday,
then it started working again with occasional bzzzt crack wham crack bzzzt,
then working pretty good, followed by more crackling.
Today , nothing, the visual sound graph moves correspondingly with sound
input, via videos etc, but there is nada sound.

I thought I might need a new input jack, as coffee did go in a bit that way,
but now I'm wondering if the sound card is right there at the jack location and
    got fried. :shrugs:

    I think this is a Toshiba Satellite D655c .

    Thanks bro ,
Guess what , I was just sitting down to watch my Prime' Movies, and realized wtf , I'm not going to
    hear a thing....
I have two of these laptops, the other one doesn't charge and I only have one battery left,
a little bit of quick math indicates a monkey fkg a football, can't charge and watch, can't
    watch and charge.

Long and short; I just got lucky and discovered I can order an external soundcard, DONE, went
on Amazon , read some reviews..........its on the way. This gives me two days
to really enjoy my tennitis......> two day delivery, Delivers Friday...

Liquids and electronics do not often play well together.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.
