OAK HARBOR, Wash. – A person of interest in the Cascade Mall shooting has been taken into custody, according to Island County Sheriff Office.

The sheriff’s office said the man was taken into custody in Oak Harbor almost 24-hours after he walked into the Macy’s at the shopping center and killed four women and a man.

Matt Farage posted a possible photo of the arrest on his Facebook page.

Washington State Patrol identified the suspect as Arcan Cetin, 20, of Oak Harbor, Wash. Cetin was taken into custody at around 7 p.m. PT in Oak Harbor, about 29 miles southwest of Burlington.

Oak Harbor, where the suspect was apprehended, is on Whidbey Island. The shooting was at a shopping mall on the mainland near the northern passage off the island, about an hour north of Seattle. A shame there wasn't a patriot nearby, ready to waste the fool before he could harm innocent people.

Usually they tend to wait till ID confimred but was odd to see incorrect "hispanic male" headlines so early on.

The arrest

Island County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cetin shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday as he was walking down the street.

The arresting deputies described Cetin as "kind of zombie-like."

I'm pretty sure you don't get official designation as "terrorist" until you've been working for DOD for at least two weeks. There's a probationary period to weed out the crazies.

Court records show Cetin had previously faced three charges of assaulting his stepfather, The Seattle Times reported. Cetin also was arrested on drunken driving charges. No details were given on when the arrests took place or how the cases may have been resolved.

In the assault case, Cetin was told by a judge last December that he was not to possess a gun, The Times reported.
