Thread: Who owns the national parks?

    Who owns the national parks?

Specifically, is there any evidence to support the assertion that they are collateral protecting loans from international bankers?

Who owns national parks ? The National Park Service of the Dept of Interior of the american federal govt . Who should own the parks is a better question. 27K employees for 418 areas , 60 are parks , the parke service was a creation of the wicked woodrow wilson , hero to evil leftists . The president has powers to add to this with the Antiquities Act . Three billion annual budget , 12 billion maint backlog are the rumors .

The Dept of Interior controls 3 /4's of federal lands . They are beholden to no entity . It is not like someone is going to eliminate the budget and let the states have those lands . In $#@!hole countries the Dept of Interior usually runs the intel services and special forces too.

US government debt is not secured- US Treasuries are not backed by any real assets. Only the ability of the government to raise money from its citizens. If the US ever defaulted on their debt, holders would get nothing. A home mortgage is secured by your house and a car loan is secured by the car- don't pay and you can lose them. But US government debt is not secured by anything. There is no collateral.

    Finland does rake its forests;
the Finnish are world leaders in biomass energy.

Raking in forestry has nothing to do with yard rakes used by hand to move leaves.

    This is a slash rake:

This is the purpose of slash raking:

This is the public funded by Californians 2018 Little Hoover report, which makes a very clear and concise case on the state of California's

    poor forest management
    :

Finland's biomass raked off of its forest floors and converted to "black liquor" which then becomes terrawatts of renewable electrical energy:

Finland is a world leader in this process:

Unfortunately very little of the biomass in the US is used to create electricity; its mostly just burned off on site or pushed into rows to prevent downhill erosion during reforestation. Most US forest is managed by federal and state bureaucracy; mismanagement is to be expected.

In the two maps below you can see states which prescribe controlled burns of raked biomass and states which endure wildfires:

After the image above one should stop and reflect (mind you I'm shooting from hip on these statistics but roughly):

    - East half of the US 80% of forest is PRIVATE

    - West half of the US 80% of forest is PUBLIC

it should also be noted, again from the hip:

    - US: 50% of forest is public, 25% is corporate, 25% is family owned.

    - Finland: 25% of forest is public, 15% is corporate, 60% is family owned.

Note the lack of ACRES of prescribed burn in the huge state of California.

when pondering the scale 1001-50,000 acres of prescribed burn annually in cali...

    note

    1) the "Camp Fire" alone consumed 150,000 acres.
    2) California has 33,000,000 acres of forest
    3) about a million acres are consumed annually by wildfire

This is what correctly thinned, well managed timber looks like after slashed piles have been raked:

This is what a forest fire looks like before its a forest fire:

This is a slash harvesting machine in Finland picking up raked biomass:

Finland then chips the raked slash before using as fuel:

In the past 40 years, biomass and black liquor have become major contributors to Finland's power grid:

It is heartwarming to know on a cool evening that you recognize me as Great Parke Sagamore and understand the need for this . You may send that portion of your taxes directly to me now and once I am complete you can keep it . Just notify the IRS we are eliminating the parke service
