Florida governor, Cabinet sued over plans to meet in Israel.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — An open-government watchdog group and several news outlets sued Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and members of the Cabinet on Tuesday in an effort to stop them from holding a Cabinet meeting while on a trade mission in Israel.

The lawsuit argues that the meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, violates the state's constitution and open-government laws, which require that Cabinet sessions be open to the public. Florida residents who don't happen to be in Israel won't be able to attend, and the meeting's planned location, at the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, has generated security concerns that will further restrict access.

The lawsuit was filed by The First Amendment Foundation, Gannett Co., Gatehouse Media and the owners of the Miami Herald and Tampa Bay Times. The Associated Press and other news outlets plan to join the suit.
Why pretend that Izrael doesnt run the US.

IMHO we should airlift all of DC to Tel Aviv

Granted this is legit crticism as actions in OP news violate spirit of America First doctrine, such headlines if highlighted by media could promote divisive and damaging narratives like those being popularized by Nationalsits surging lately in Europe.

Similar development in US could wipe out funding for MAGA nationalist movement. Without funding, there would be no more MAGA movement as its top funder is pro-Israel Jewish casino owner Adelson.

I'll see what I can do. Ron and I do have our differences, I don't discriminate, I call him out equally as I do the rest. He didn't come to the Madonna Della Libra so I haven't talked to him lately.

This by no means proves that most GOP "conservatives" of late are stealth poodles of Deep Neocons and used to play base of GOP like a broken fiddle (apparently many GOP supporters are confused lately and feeling 'got played again' following SCOTUS rulings affirming Biden win), somewhat interesting story still:

Poll of GOP activists has Gov. DeSantis favored to win 2024 nomination if Trump doesn’t run

    Feb 28, 2021

A poll of grassroots conservative advocates gathered in Orlando Sunday had Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis favored to win the GOP presidential nomination in 2024 if former President Donald Trump decides not to run again.

DeSantis received 43% of the vote among those gathered for the Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, the biggest event of the year in conservative politics. The Florida governor was well in front of South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, who came in second with 11% support, and Donald Trump Jr., who was in third place with 8% support. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz both were at 7% in the poll.

DeSantis and Noem have attracted national attention for making their states some of the least restrictive in the nation during the coronavirus pandemic. That approach has been cheered by many conservatives and has increased the 2024 buzz surrounding both governors.
