Libertarian Fox Host Attacked By Tolerant Liberals

A still shaken Timpf told The Post Tuesday ​that she was definitely targeted for the ​​attack.

“This was a pre-planned thing,” Timpf said. “Just to see someone look you in the eye with that kind of anger and hatred and whip water in your face … is a terrifying thought.”

Timpf said the man was silent ​as he tapped her on the shoulder, dumped water on her head and then splashed it into her eyes. She said the unprovoked incident forced her to cancel her speech at Kissel’s event about criminal justice reform and budget cuts.

“The way things have gotten, it’s just so sick,” she said. “I don’t even have a right to exist in public is how it feels.”

The 28-year-old commentator chronicled the “infantile bulls–t” in a fired up tweetstorm.

The unknown guy “walks in, clearly here because he knows I’m here, dumps an entire 1.5 liter bottle of water on me, first on my head and then I turn … to look and he splashes it directly on my face and runs out. I’m shocked, I’m stunned. I’m obviously upset. I end up not being able … to speak because of it,” Timpf wrote Monday night.

She went on to add, “I’ve never seen a more disgusting insane cruel climate than the one we’re in now. Why? What does that … accomplish? I guess I wasn’t able to speak so that’s great and I guess he wins, but we’re just randomly assaulting people in public now?”

The altercation was caught on security footage, which Timpf said has been turned over to police. She also filed a police report — but the assailant is still in the wind, she said on Twitter.

Police confirmed Timpf filed a harassment complaint Monday night. They described the creep, who said nothing when he attacked, as a 6’2 black male, about 170 lbs. with dreadlocks.

That's a shame, she's actually a real libertarian, the only one left on FOX I suppose.

I was just doing a little reading about her background and it turns out she grew up in Detroit and got her BA at Hillsdale.

That explains a lot - firsthand experience with the failures of socialism + a good economics department.

I remember the days when someone was not convicted of a crime if the gun was not loaded or if the bullets were blanks. I tend to agree. $#@! thing to do, but it's not like he hit her.

I don't know about this whole thing. I understand that it screwed up her gig and she has a loss and all that but this was water.
