It is really a criminal shame that the warmongers and Neocrazies are coercing DJT to start WW3 in order to save his presidency.

    For shame

Why, it's almost as if the recent talk of peace in the middle east, between countries like Israel and Saudi Arabia, which have been cooperating for decades, and between which there was never the slightest chance of war, is a propaganda effort designed to obscure the formation of what is in fact a new and aggressive anti-Iran alliance.

If he did this he would be utterly stupid. Let senile sniffy start a war and hold that over the party of peace.

    " Kiss your ass goodby"?

    "Make Peace with your God"?
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

The Democrat Party has been a warring party since Woodrow, certainly.

But, if I understand you correctly, you think the GOP is different?

If you know what a VHS tape is, you will recall that the GOP started the still somewhat ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    Do those not count?

I wouldn't be surprised if this President went ahead and attacked Iran during his lame duck period.

He's taken a lot of money from people with a keen interest in knocking out Iran.

I hope that doesn't happen, though.

Iran is not what it was at the end of the W. Bush administration; they now have serious military equipment, and a real treaty with China.

And why then are the warmongers and neocrazies supporting Biden?

Why did the Democrats promise Netanyahu in the summer of 2016 that they would start WW3 if necessary to create a Greater Israel ?!?!?!?!?!?!

Joe Biden - Foreign Policy - The New York Times
    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...gn-policy.html

What's going on here, if you read the Biden answers to the questions of the NYT above, is that the Biden Adm is not viewed as such a lollygagger to the Israeli right wing as Trump has been. This is because the Biden Adm has "leftists" within its ranks, and Palestinian cause supporters. It did not favor the assassination of Sulemani, and it does not favor regime change for Iran. The difference (so far, TBD given the current situation) - is that those who surround and influence choices to be made within the Biden circles are less inflammatory toward Iran than inside the Trump Adm which was littered with pro-regime change hawks and "Christian" pan-Zionists.

This cortege, in private reconnaisance with the Israeli right-wing, impelled by the questionable status and future of Bibi Netanyahu, is spurring on the Trump Adm to get business done before Team Biden holds the reigns of power.

It wouldn't be happening if there was no difference. Keep that in mind, and let's hope that the plans are thwarted, but there will be a test, and that test is highly likely to provide a pretext involving the deaths of Americans inside Iraq, or the pretext of an attack in the Persian Gulf against American assets. In other words, a false flag, or a deliberate provocation against Iranian or Iran-backed militias, the latter of which are not entirely managed directly by Tehran, this lack of oversight can be exploited by the U.S. if it successfully triggers them to respond - providing the casus belli for Trump to tell the American people it is a just cause.

He should be able to stand up to their pressures, granted warmongers and neocrazies have used insane tactics to pressure recent Presidents nto wars for interests of parasitic lobbies.

    Quote:
    6 January 2020
Trump threatens Iraq with crippling sanctions if US troops are expelled
Speaking from the presidential plane, Mr Trump said that if Iraq asked US forces to depart on an unfriendly basis, "we will charge them sanctions like they've never seen before, ever. It'll make Iranian sanctions look somewhat tame."
Trump has deployed 14,000 additional troops to the Middle East since May 2019

Still he should be given some credit, something is better than nothing.
Also in his defense, some recent presidents have faced all sorts of reasonable as well as very unreasonable scummy pressures from various pro wars interests, early on he had appeared to be strong leade less likely to be pressured compared to others.
This may also explain why former never-Trumper neocons like Dennis "Immorality of leaving Iraq and Afghanistan" Prager had lately become his strong defender post 2016 election.

In case some nefarious puppet masters are giving MAGA revolution leaders option to win election by starting a war with Iran, he should say no and take voters and Congress into confidence. Would be pretty cowardly and dumb move to start this war for political interests of deep neocons. If it happened, we won't see another Kabbalah trained reality TV star elected as President for generations.

Attacks against Iran have been ongoing since the 1950s.

The inevitable has been delayed,, (multiple factors)

Trump has played in the arena without taking that step yet.

    Delay is good.
