CNN is race obsessed. Pretty sure i remember clearly when GW Bush was president CNN tried to pull a racial war and tension but stayed out of it, for some reason now they are going in fully.

As for the lack of Diversity article nonsense by CNN there was a group of black African American who were soldiers on the front lines during WW2 but they weren't sent to many conflicts.

It's just the deceptive part about it that I don't like. Imagine if I posted a satire news masquerading as real news that says that white men are being racists and sexist again and I say the fun part is to see how long it takes before a white man does something racist or sexist again, would that be OK with you? if yes, then WTF is wrong with you.

The way this sort of thing as been dealt with on this site is to include somewhere in the actual post that it is satire. I am really not a fan of news being deceptive, its just my nature. And when it comes to stories about diversity, its a little bit personal to me cos I know what people mean by diversity e.g the Nigerian bloke living in Nebraska.

This is a thought experiment, a hypothetical scenario, a question posed to you. Your response could be a Yes, I will be OK with such a post or No, I will not be OK with such a post but definitely what you replied with.

True but the link was hidden behind a hyperlink so if you didn't click on the link, you would think that it was real story. I think that was the purpose of it i.e. to see how many people think the fake news was real. The problem is that most people read and don't comment and they would go about their day thinking CNN was is again senselessly complaining about diversity.

Every web browser for phone or desktop has a function where, upon rolling over a embedded hyperlink, the contents of the link are displayed, usually on the lower left corner.

Satire and humor is often about “tricking” people. The expected and unexpected. That’s comedy.

In authoritarian/dictatorship govts satire is popular because its a way to cleverly make fun of the govt with plausible deniability. Believe, I am very knowledgeable in the subject. The shows I watched growing up, the plays I went to, the street side comedy shows usually employed this technique. I know what it was, the difference is that it was clear to everyone watching that it is satire. Donnay and Anti globalist both fell for it and god knows how many others did not realize it was satire and left thinking it was real news.
