    * See my visitor message area for caveats related to my posting history here.
    * Also, I have effectively retired from all social media including posting here and are basically opting out of anything to do with national politics or this country on federal or state level and rather focusing locally. I may stop by from time to time to discuss philosophy on a general level related to Libertarian schools of thought and application in the real world.

Rubio only got 11% of MS Republicans with graduate degrees. Trump got 40%. That's... not good for Rubio.

He still needs 1 of 2 between Ohio and Florida.

In general, yes, but not in Michigan. If anyone beats Trump there it would be Kasich.

Where does Hillary lock it up? With Trump we've all heard win 2 of 3 between MI, OH & FL. If he's got MI this early I'd say it's over on the red side but should basically be done by 3/15

See if Trump eclipses the 50% threshold in Michigan. If so, he gets all of the 59 delegates.

All Hillary has to do to lock it up is stay out of jail. As long as she isn't indicted the nomination is already hers.

If they are voting for Rand after he has suspended, I think it is safe to say....it is actually happening. Just wait until 2020. The people have already realized the terrible mistake they've made. It is on us to be able to share the message of Liberty to them in a way that they can understand and get behind.

So sweet to read that Big up! to your family
I'm a bit of a statistical junkie. I like to analyze or sum up polling or voting data. That doesn't mean that I believe all the pollmakers - I simply dont know most of the time if they counterfeit their data because of an agenda or not. It's just the only data I have to work with.
And I love the message of liberty!

Nope, Michigan has no 50% rule.

That might've helped if they lived in Iowa. Tonight a few hundred liberty minded people could sway the delegate count by voting for Trump. A vote for Rand tonight will have no real world effect. I understand Trump is no liberty candidate, but he may could destroy the establishment. Anyways, kudos for getting your parents interested in Rand.

Mississippi has no 50% rule either at the at-large-delegates. Trump may win all 12 congressional district delegates though if he gets over 50% in the districts.

Lets have a look at Michigan data so far:

    GOP Est. in: 26%

    Trump 37.8
    Kasich 26.0
    Cruz 22.7
    Rubio 9.0

Trump not stronger than in polls, Kasich same - but as he has no real chance to get the nomination, he is doing very well. Cruz a bit better than in polls. Rubio - fail (like in polls)

    Dem side:

    Est in: 31%

    Sanders 51%
    Clinton 47%

Big win for Sanders, as he was WAY behind in polls.
