And the beauty of Randal keeping his doctoring skills up and fighting for his right to keep performing operations is that at any time he could realistically say, "screw it, you guys deserve each other" and happily go back to his medical practice. they really can't hold his senate seat or his political future over his head against him.

Understandable coming from Trump, because the biggest headaches for a President Trump would be constitutional conservatives in the Senate like Paul, Lee and Cruz.

No one could come close to beating Rand, Republican or Democrat. Rand is one of the most popular Senators Kentucky has ever had.
Trump is right of course, Trey Grayson and a couple others are already expressing an interest in the vacated seat by the next President - Rand Paul.
Or in worst case scenario, to avoid double listing issues as GOP President and GOP Senator - Rand could probably run as an Independent for the Senate seat,
and Kentucky voters are smart enoiugh to realize it was because he was running for POTUS anyway.
Don't you think registering as an independent could create an image problem in his campaign for the Presidency as a Republican?

Trump is starting to sound paranoid about Rand.
He should he wants to be the king maker for the establishment candidate by making them look more reasonable. Jeb Bushes campaign to lose the primary is under fire from a serious competitor.
In the general election, he could have his wife's name on the ballot, those Electors would go vote for Rand at the Electoral College.
I am so sick of Trump...he is still all over the place getting all of the press. If he is so powerful and popular, why the heck does he care about Rand Paul who is hated by everyone right now. How pathetic and weak.

The more Trump responds the better it is for Rand as it keeps him in front of the MSM. By the time the Iowa Caucus comes Trump won't know what hit him, a Randslide.

Truth be told, I'm not so much sick of Trump as I am of his supporters. Some people can't help being jerks, but the people who encourage it need to be smacked across the back with a jump rope a few dozen times.
I don't think he's paranoid about Rand, I just think his ego can't stand any sort of criticism without flying off the handle. Even his supporters are starting to act that way. Take note of the post above mines.

Attacking Trump will be a mistake if it doesn't propel Rand in the polls, the establishment + Trump will work together against us now.
That would be the smart thing for Trump. When Trump attacks Rand he is literally attacking down to the lowest of low candidates according to the recent polling. Rand will soon be polling at 1 or 2% if the trend keeps up. That's like Santorum numbers, maybe a little higher.
Hell, not Cruz.... Cruz "has been" licking Donald's Azz lately..

I hope Rand keeps calling the liar out. Cuz what I saw from the last debate was one candidate taking a stand while most all the rest yucked it up pimping themselves out for campaign checks.
Rand was the only one with the balls to take that wannabe dictator on.
