Crooked GOP Senators Laughed Uncontrollably at the Thought of a Border Wall

21.6 billion for a wall is deemed fiscally irresponsible, but 2+ trillion for a full scale invasion of Syria is more than reasonable. God forbid we spend any stolen loot to prevent the country from plunging into the ethnic and socialist abyss that currently defines California.

I'm waiting for the tar, feathers and rolls of quarters in pillow cases. Enough with the games. Until a mandarin member of the sacred 100 loses a row of teeth, this will go on.

I'm guessing this fool is among the pack of treasonous vultures. Tilles is rapidly approaching Lamar Alexander territory in a short period.

This guy is so owned by special interests that there is likely a hanging price tag ensconced behind his ear.

“I don’t think that there will be any curtailing of Donald Trump as president,” he said. "He controls the media, he controls the sentiment [and] he controls everybody. He’s the one who will resort to executive orders more so than [President] Obama ever used them." - Ron Paul

I am not defending blood-sucking GOP hack politicians, so don't get me wrong here... Maybe they are laughing because a border wall is just an obscenely stupid idea? I can't believe our professional salesman/reality-tv actor/president managed to build a platform around 'building a big shiny wall' that propelled him to electoral victory, but I have ceased being surprised at the depths to which our society can sink. Maybe they are laughing because they are all RINOs and knew all along that Trump was a plant, a newly-minted RINO, a puppet with the hand of the deep state up his ass like every other president in the last half-century+? I still can't believe how few noticed how shallow and cliche Trump's rhetoric during the election really was... You were played like a first-grader... Honestly I am laughing right now too.

I have been lurking in this forum for some sick, sad entertainment for a while, but had to post because, god damn, I thought by now people would realize that they were duped... What do you think a government-built wall is going to do to improve this country really???? You really believe it is illegal immigration that is killing this country? A wall fixes nothing. It would probably be built by Israeli contractors. More foreign aid for the real leading state sponsor of terrorism... Maybe it would fund their next catalyzing false flag on us. If you still believe in Trump, your time in a web browser would be better spent researching reverse lobotomies, k?

Hey Gold+20 Hydrogen Atoms, is Ron Paul crooked? He doesn't just laugh; he disembowels the very concept of your ignorant wall with righteous disgust -

"Walling people off is not a very libertarian idea. As a matter of fact, I've always argued the walls are going to hinder the American people as much as anybody... I think a wall is totally useless and [Jeff Sessions] didn't mention how he was going to pay for that wall. That's billions of dollars. Nobody knows what it will cost and it won't work. And it's so detrimental to the concept of liberty. Because what it is is they're treating a symptom rather than saying: Our problem is [that we need] a healthy economy, and allowing people to trade freely and go back and forth. Enforce the laws that we have. I would say the wall is treating the symptom and it's not gonna work." - Ron Paul, April 20, 2017.

    Your argument -
It's bad to spend 2+ trillion on a war. Therefore we should spend 21+ billion dollars on a Marxist Ozymandias project.

    Pure genius. You'll go far.
Partisan politics, misleading or emotional bill titles, and 4D chess theories are manifestations of the same lie—that the text of the Constitution, the text of legislation, and plain facts do not matter; what matters is what you want to believe. From this comes hypocrisy. And where hypocrisy thrives, virtue recedes. Without virtue, liberty dies. - Justin Amash, March 2018

    Good for them.

The real question is, why are long time members at Ron Paul Forums of all places not joining them in ridiculing the idea of a border wall?

Don't look now, but enabling the insurance lobby to make health care ever more unaffordable--not just for the chronically ill, but for everyone in the country--is another area where you and corrupt GOP senators see eye-to-eye. And war, too. Every time you profess that the Fed is necessary to somehow ameliorate the effects of recessions, even though we're had far worse, longer-lasting recessions in the last hundred years than we ever had while the goofy gold standard was in effect, you're arguing their case. After all, a few years ago, Iraq, Libya, Syria, North Korea and Iran were the only nations which didn't have central banks printing ever-more-worthless money and making the poor poorer. And after eight years of your favorite drone-flying puppet bombing children, there were three.

Yeah, you and they have much in common. AM I SPEAKING LOUDLY ENOUGH TO BE HEARD?

Clearly P.T. Barnum's wisdom was bipartisan. No matter which side of the aisle you look at, there's a sucker born to it every two seconds.

Examine California and get back to me. Illegal immigration didn't directly kill America, but it will make certain that there will be no chance of secession or a revival. When the virus goes fully national, the meager resistance here will be drowned even further by the waves of 'democracy.'

Unless the detractors don't possess doors inside the entrance jambs of their residences, they shouldn't scoff at the idea of a wall. It's the first layer of security and then you plan a contingency for intruders afterwards. I stage multiple layers of security within my home if the perimeter is compromised.

Some libertarians are painfully autistic in regard to the comprehension of cultural biases and how they align with the growth of the federal government. There is no natural Darwinian filter of 'sink or swim' in this country, where you could theoretically overcome some of these damaging cultural biases. Government feeds and shelters everyone at the taxpayer and consumer's expense, while further exacerbating the moral hazards.

I'm not in love with California's gov, but the people overall are pretty cool. I'm glad I grew up in a multicultural environment.

Close your eyes and imagine 47 Jerry Browns with corresponding state legislatures making our lives even more unbearable. That's the rapidly approaching future. It will be Dunghole USA with a bodega on every corner along with a monthly licensing fee tied to the breathing of oxygen.

I really think WW3 might be an upgrade on the demographic nightmare that we're subsidizing with our funny money machine. Maybe Vlad can depopulate some blue strongholds when the thing kicks off.

So, AuH20: did you support Hillary, or are you just full of $#@!?

I agree with the OP. Do not spend 21.6 billion on a wall and the crony capitalism that will go far larger the estimate and NEVER solve the problem or 3 trillion on a war and the crony capitalism that will go far larger the estimate and NEVER solve the problem.

If so, then the correct solution is to legalize whatever immigration is currently illegal, then it won't be illegal immigration any more.

This is a piece of 'family-centric' data that I would like to separate both myself and my wallet from.

There is. I sat right next to him at the 2013 state convention. His pure self-interest just oozes from his aura. Ask GunnyFreedom about how $#@!ty Tillis is, he'll tell ya all about him.

    A) THIS POLL IS REPRESENTATIVE - Data aligns with other polls. This is not an anomaly. Look at prevalent government types in Central America and Mexico. What do you find there? Thriving libertarian republics?
    B) A WALL WOULD STOP THESE BIG GOVERNMENT HISPANICS - See the broad definition of birthright citizenship per the U.S. court system.
    C) HISPANICS WHO WOULD BE STOPPED BY A WALL BUT ARE NOT STOPPED NOW HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE GOVERNMENT - Per the generous interpretation of the 14th amendment for anchor babies and/or if residency parameters are eventually met for the individual crossing. Citizenship is instantly bestowed to the offspring of the trespasser.
    D) BIG GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS THAT STOP BIG GOVERNMENT LOVING PEOPLE ARE GOOD - Overall dollar cost in the medical, school and municipal service spheres exceeds any proposed border security expenditures. Per FAIR, illegal immigration collectively costs the U.S. 113 billion annually. A lion's share of these costs are absorbed by the local and state governments to the tune of 84 billion annually. Deduct 21.6 billion (cost of wall) from 113 billion and the delta is roughly 91 billion for one calendar year (not total savings obviously).
    E) IT IS GOOD THAT THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BE SOLVENT - ?

You guys might as well start learning the language:
