Woman shot, killed inside U.S. Capitol was Air Force veteran originally from Maryland

Our sister station in San Diego, KMFB, spoke with 35-year-old Ashli Babbit's husband, Aaron, who said videos he’s seen of the woman who was shot is his wife.

    Updated: 3:33 PM EST January 7, 2021
WASHINGTON — A woman was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon inside the U.S. Capitol building as Trump supporters tried to break into the House Chamber.

DC's Mayor Muriel Bowser and DC Police Chief Robert Contee III said that as the rioters tried to gain access to the House Chamber after breaking into the U.S. Capitol building, a plain-clothed US Capitol Police officer fired one shot, striking a woman. She was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The woman who was shot by Capitol Police is identified as 35-year-old Ashli Babbitt from San Diego, California. Our sister station in San Diego, KMFB, spoke with Babbit's husband, Aaron, who said videos he’s seen of the woman who was shot is his wife, Ashli.

Her husband said Ashli went to D.C. by herself and he was supposed to pick her up from the airport on Friday. He tells KFMB that Ashli served in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years. The two met in D.C. back when Ashli was in the National Guard and lived in the Maryland area.

Cruz, who once accurately described Trump as a “pathological liar,” “utterly amoral,” and “a narcissist at a level I don’t think this country’s ever seen” and then became a Trump enabler for 4 years, is a smarmy snake whose objection to the electoral vote count had nothing to do with election integrity and everything to do with pandering to the Trump base for potential support in 2024.
We have long had death and taxes as the two standards of inevitability. But there are those who believe that death is the preferable of the two. "At least," as one man said, "there's one advantage about death; it doesn't get worse every time Congress meets."

He was just doing a stunt for show and it seems to have backfired on him.

MAGA leader has changed his tone also:

U.S President Donald Trump addresses the nation via Twitter on Jan. 7, a day after his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in Washington.

    January 8, 2021

I'd like to begin by addressing the heinous attack on the United States Capitol. Like all Americans, I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem.
I immediately deployed the National Guard and the federal law enforcement to secure the building and expel the intruders. America is and must always be a nation of law and order.
The demonstrators who infiltrated the capitol have defiled the seat of American democracy. To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction, you do not represent our country.
And to those who broke the law, you will pay. We have just been through an intense election, and the emotions are high. But now tempers must be cooled and calm restored.

We must get on with the business of America. My campaign vigorously pursued every legal avenue to contest the election results.
My only goal was to ensure the integrity of the vote. In so doing, I was fighting to defend American Democracy. I continue to strongly believe that we must reform our election laws to verify the identity and the eligibility of all voters and to ensure faith and confidence in all future elections. Now Congress has certified the results.

And a new administration will be inaugurated on January 20.
My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power. This moment calls for healing and reconciliation. 2020 has been a challenging time for our people.

    • Richard Barnett was arrested in Arkansas and charged with entering and remaining on restricted grounds, violent entry, and theft of public property.
    • Photographs of Barnett with a foot on Pelosi’s desk quickly circulated as an illustration of the chaos that enveloped the U.S. Capitol when a mob supporting President Donald Trump broke past police and threatened lawmakers inside.

You voted for Biden, Hilary, and Obama 2x. You're a tax lawyer who is paid to post your communist views and thwart RPF. You should talk about snakes.

Banks are going cold on them, Wall Street as well as coroprate funding will be drying.
It appears no more Senate or Presidential run suddeny for these two promising pro-Iran intervention leaders.

Republican senators Hawley and Cruz face calls to resign

    Mon 11 Jan 2021 10.28 EST
Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley are “complicit in the big lie” and “have a lot of soul searching to do” over their attempts to overturn the presidential election in favour of Donald Trump, a Republican Senate colleague said on Sunday, amid growing calls for the two men to resign or be censured.

Majority of Americans want Trump out before Biden takes over, poll says

Republican objections to electoral college results failed. But Cruz and Hawley were prominent among 147 representatives and senators who backed the late-night effort on Wednesday, even after a mob incited by the president attacked the US Capitol.
Five people including a police officer died amid the chaos, in which lawmakers were apparently the target of planned kidnappings.

    That one is curious..
I wonder how he will explain making a Mockery of Q,, and disparaging Trump Supporters,,if he really is one..

    I suspect either a Never-Trumper,, or a "Progressive"..

an alternate option,,is Spook Disinfo,,and that would certainly be possible.

I am curious as to who "Hires" this Actor. (follow the money)
