    Working on a new toy.

This is the 375 GaMMA. 462 gr projectile with what I believe would prove a very high BC over .95. I am designing an ambidextrous bolt gun for it, though the prototype would be 300 Winmag just so I don't have to teethe both a new rifle and cartridge at the same time. I cannot show images of the rifle as this is a candidate for patents. Anyone wants to build a rifle in the cartridge, let them have at it.

There is only one correct way: freedom. All other solutions are non-solutions.

It appears that artificial intelligence is at least slightly superior to natural stupidity.

That's a high grain. Is this intended as an upgrade to 50 cal? Or to fill a different role
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Pure long range anti-personnel round. My aim is that it's still supersonic at 2000 yards, vary tall order, but seeing as I've little better to do... Will have to build one first which costs, who can say whether it will get done.

    Cool.
I am interested in this kind of thing.

Could be a good drone weapon. Take full advantage of the long range by shooting from the air.

That is curiously intriguing. I owned a K-31 once long ago.

a bold that swings both ways would be an interesting trick. as I am Left eyed.

Heck,,that would be cool in an existing cartridge. were I even allowed.

and I can't help because you can't have my help even if I had some.

I would love to get stoned in your shop though.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

As am I. I drew the very short straw in that I'm naturally left-handed, but was broken of "left-handedness" when I was very young - now am mostly ambi, but favor the right. I just turned 64 on 2/1 and can no longer see well at all out of my right eye. When 16, I ground the ends off two fingers of my left hand, motorcycle racing.

Bad eye and my ever growing political reservations kept me vacillating between "screw you" and becoming an A-10 driver, which I finally gave up on when I turned 30 and was no longer eligible to become an Air Guard pilot, relegating me to the at-the-time fun stunts like flying under bridges and between the WTC towers, none of which were very profitable, though I did manage to avoid going to prison.

So because of my eye I have to shoot long arms lefty with a partly amputated trigger finger. I shoot sidearm righty because of my eye and my not-great left trigger finger. Buying lefty rifles is a PITA ( I have exactly one ) and shooting right-handed bolt guns is a bigger PITA, though I've worked out a system.

That's my motivation for the ambi rifle. One or two easy motions and the weapon goes from righty to lefty, though I'm still stuck with not the best trigger finger in the world, but not the worst, either. I did envision a device for glass that would enable a shooter to shoot righty while sighting lefty... electronics and all that.

Heck,,that would be cool in an existing cartridge. were I even allowed.
My CAD model is chambered in 300 Winmag. Building it is going to be a challenge in terms of tooling as there are features that make it sufficiently different from everything currently available that may require custom cutters, which translates into $$$, of course. But of I'm not mistaken, and I well may be, these other features should make it the most stubbornly accurate rifle on the planet... at least that it my theory. It is possible that the extra effort needed in manufacture may not be justifiable for the gain in accuracy and precision. The only way to know is to build one, which I intend on before much longer, but in 300 Winmag. The GaMMA will have to wait, if for no other reason than $$$ considerations. I am no longer even remotely wealthy as nobody gives the least damn about a used-up old engineer like myself.

I may try to contact Jimmy Sloan (inventor of 338 Norma) for help on making dies and reamers for the GaMMA. He invented the 338 Norma using one of my lathes and that is how we became acquainted.

and I can't help because you can't have my help even if I had some.
That is a most kind sentiment and I thank you.

I would love to get stoned in your shop though.
    Shop's a mess these days, but I'm managing. .

My big stressor is the house. I bit off a big piece, did a large bit myself, but what remains I can no longer do alone, which means $$$ once again. And so it goes.
