Oh, I wondered what that noise was. It's the howls of anguish from Democratic Underground and The Daily Kos.

Olbermann blogs at the latter -I'm sure he'll be along shortly to spit venom at his ex-employers.

ETA: Hahahaha - they hired Elliot Spitzer to replace him?

Al Gore replaced Olbermann with the forced to resign ex governor who was caught being a patron of a prostitution ring? Ouch. That had to hurt Keith.

I gotta admit I take some pleasure when they eat their own. Most of the time there just isn't a good guy in the drama. More like mafia families fighting each other. Also, it's rather reassuring that people like Gore actually have to hire people like the shamed Elliot Spitzer. Makes me believe their little crime rings aren't so big after all when they have to hire the outted scumbags. Gore couldn't find a scumbag that hadn't been outted already?

or maybe those types of people are a "draw" for their audience. either way, those types are probably easier to control, yes?

Agreed. I think it's a requirement of the job to have blackmail material on them in case they develop a conscious someday .

Interesting side note I just discovered about the owners of the prosititution ring that Elliot Xpitzer was a patron of. I'm gonna have to look a bit further into this One World Initiative. What I have discovered in the past is that these prostitution rings are run to get blackmail material on the politicians. Secretly recording them and then blackmailing them if they don't go along with the agenda. Now they appear to be gurus pushing the NWO's goal of unifying the religions.

According to The New York Times, following this shutdown and their imprisonment, on August 10, 2010, former owners and managers of Emperors Club vip, Cecil Suwal and Mark Brener, were married in Manhattan, New York and cofounded The One World Initiative.

An untold number of customers were willing to pay $5,000 an hour for an escort from Emperor’s Club VIP, the Internet prostitution ring run by a 62-year-old former Israeli tax official and his bubbly 20-something girlfriend that in 2008 helped end the political career of Eliot Spitzer, also known then as Client No. 9.

Be very careful...these are first amendment issues--Limbaugh/Olbermann. I may not agree with these imbeciles, but I will defend their right to be imbeciles.

Olbermann issue doesn't seem to be anything to do with the first amendment; but rather being a prima donna employee that thinks he doesn't need to follow his employers rules.

    LOL...
Current said on Friday afternoon that it had fired Mr. Olbermann — one of the nation’s most prominent progressive speakers — just a year into his five-year, $50 million contract
He was getting paid more at ManBearPig TV than @ 30 Rock with NBC/GE.

It was all for publicity and attracting those progressive libtards to LINKTV. Kieth Uberfurhermann flopped on it... he didn't draw and was a huge liability in cash. Fred Flintstone aka Dink Cenk Uyygur has better viewership on TYT.

Based on the idea of natural rights, government secures those rights to the individual by strictly negative intervention, making justice costless and easy of access; and beyond that it does not go. The State, on the other hand, both in its genesis and by its primary intention, is purely anti-social. It is not based on the idea of natural rights, but on the idea that the individual has no rights except those that the State may provisionally grant him. It has always made justice costly and difficult of access, and has invariably held itself above justice and common morality whenever it could advantage itself by so doing.
