Thread: Transgender Flips Out After 'Sir' Incident

The sad part is that there's plenty of folks who will reflexively be on the side of this thing. Any abuse inflicted by the "marginalized" is justified as a response to oppression or some $#@!.

Obviously I am going to slip back into recognizing reality. And when I do, (not trying to start a fight or purposefully trying to misgender) the backlash is so great that the only answer is to shy away from any interactions with people like that. The same thing is happening with the metoo movement.

I have been called sir before. I think maybe they just misspoke. It is pretty obvious that I am a woman. I don't care because I know who I am.

I have seen several trans people that make me bust out laughing because they look so ridiculous because the make up is too heavy and their clothes look like a costume in a circus. That person in the OP looked like a man that was dressed like a woman. For sure, I don't want his angry ass in the bathroom with me.

I said this a few years ago, and I think it is still true: Eventually all customer service people will be required to not use "sir" and "ma'am" in dealing with clients. The indoctrination has been going on for a few years. I think it is going to be first names or nothing.

I'm a Southerner raised military. Two of the first words we learned were "sir" and "ma'am."

I have met people who don't like to be addressed as sir or ma'am because it makes them feel old. Although I have never seen them throw a tantrum about it.

I speak to people on the phone all day. When asked to verify the name, "My name is Kelly Unpronouncable. I prefer to be called Kelly." "Thank you, Kelly."

If I can see a title like "Doctor," I will use that. "Thank you, Dr. RJB."

I was in the Marines. I disliked being addressed by a title ever since then. However, I tend to address others by their titles out of respect especially if they introduce themselves by that title.

I call people by their name until I think of a suitable nickname for them.

It matters because the left wants to use government to enforce it.

It matters because the business world has taken the customer for granted. Now the competition for return business is huge.

And courtesy never goes out of fashion. It is never wrong to put the feelings of others ahead of my need to be right.

If a person take parts off of a vehicle and reassembles them it does not make the reassembled vehicle authentic. It makes it a clone. You cannot change the engine, emblems, and add stripes to turn a regular Chevelle into an SS Chevelle.

It would be interesting to read medical documentation from a hospital. Had this person become unconscious and transported to a hospital where they were admitted and stabilized would the documentation state, "admitted female approximately 25 years of age....... or admitted male approximately 25 years of age"?
