Yeah. @dannno believes that all a bimbo has to do is to go up to a celeb's lawyer and say "Pay me $130,000.00" and bingo! There's the check! Or maybe Dannno believes that "feed the monkey" is code word for giving Trump oral sex. Who knows?

I'm not making anything up; all of those details were provided by @dannno.

    Here's his theory, summarized:

(But it was covered up anyway.)

There's an unexplained step here, which is what I've asked the Trumpwhisperer to fill us all in on:

The blackmail threat, which was not communicated to Trump, was somehow forwarded to Cohen who, coincidentally, is well-versed in paying off mistresses. Then Cohen, who did not know if Trump had actually $#@!ed her or not, and had not in any way communicated with Trump about the matter, decides that he should pay her $130,000 and get her to sign an NDA with Trump's name on it. He doesn't tell Trump about the agreement or get Trump to sign it, instead entirely completing a business agreement in his client's name without his client's knowledge.

(Except Trump said “... with this crazy Stormy Daniels deal he represented me.")

    And, finally:

People only care about the payment because they have TDS and want Trump to get in trouble with teacher and not be President anymore. You're like little children.
Actually Trump's naive Christian conservative base cares about it. I've heard that bantered around on talk radio. "If he has lied to us about Stormy Daniels while POTUS then how can we trust him on anything else?"

And this is why Trump is his own worst enemy. Giuliani was trying to help Trump. The only legal jeopardy Trump would have been in is if campaign funds were used. By identifying the source of the funds, Giuliani was putting this legal issue to bed. Then Trump came out and said "Giuliani doesn't know what he's talking about." And for his troubles Giuliani is being labeled "deep state" by people who just aren't bright enough to understand what's going on.

Something else that you are missing. There were a LOT of women who had accused Trump of all sorts of things before the election. If nothing had happened with Stormy Daniels and if she had just made the story up then Trump could have ignored it and she'd be just one woman of many. Something likely happened and she might have hard evidence like Monica Lewinsky had on Clinton.

Again: How did he know? How is it that Cohen became aware of the fact that she was going to do this?

Make sure that your explanation somehow involves Cohen finding out without Trump, or any of Trump's staff, or anyone in Trump's campaign finding out. Oh, and then neither Cohen nor anybody else told Trump about about it because... Reasons?

Are you saying that Trump is lying about this?
Why wouldn't she contact Trump's attorney first?

I dunno, maybe that's why she didn't get that much money, but she does have the porn star power.

Okay, sure, that doesn't make any sense, but let's go with it... except, according to Trump, Cohen is primarily a businessman and doesn't handle most of Trump's legal work. Only a tiny fraction of it, he said.

Trump's never shied away from a libel lawsuit before; if she's lying, why is he so desperately eager to avoid the chance to prove it in court?

Were you seriously born yesterday? That has got to be the dumbest question I've seen on this forum.
Of course . . . the porn star hoe who had a date in 2006 with the GOP Presidential Candidate would have to be paid something with the legally signed confidentially agreement/contract.
But was there a condition she could just return the $130,000 if the GOP Candidate could actually defeat the Clinton Machine permeating the top state for the now infamous 2016 elections ?

Stormy clearly has returned the monies with interest . . .
to avoid the breach of contract provisions of the legal document in which she signed her name so bigly.

If turned out that money that Essential Consultants paid to Stormy had come from Novartis and not from GOP candidate turned POTUS, did Giuliani still cause an exposure?

    According to Avenatti's memo, pharmaceutical company Novartis made four separate payments of $99,980 to the Essential Consultants bank account in late 2017 to early 2018;
"Following these payments, reports surfaced that Mr. Trump took a dinner with the incoming CEO of Novartis before Mr. Trump's speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in late January 2018," Avenatti's report said.
Cohen established the firm Essential Consultants in the weeks leading up to Election Day to make a $130,000 payment to Daniels, as a part of an agreement to prevent the porn star from discussing her alleged affair with Trump.

That would make it an in-kind donation to Trump's campaign from a foreigner.
