If you get cought up in character design and forget about what actually goes on in a show or a comic series and what the characters go through that gets them to where they are and their experiences as a whole too then your just ruining it for yourself and everyone else around you who likes this particular medium by making them feel worse about themselves even though if you actually talk to those people on message boards and at comic book stores you realise that their just guys and girls enjoying the art and story while not imitating character traits and clothing to become "satanists" themselves. Likewise if you take it too seriously to the point where your doing $#@!ty cosplay of characters in the most awkward places, becoming a "satanist" yourself and basically just lampooning your fandom as a whole then thats not cool either.
