Yeah I never said Norway is more capitalistic than the US, so it was never me. And probably not anyone else.

Then you completely shifted the goalpost to people saying Scandavian countries are capitalist countries. That is true statement. That is radically different from your first claim. And you conflate the most socialistic Scandavian country Norway with Denmark because you are fundamentally dishonest.

Why be so dishonest? And why continue comparing Scandavian countries to Venezuela when an avalanche if counterpoint always get presented that show how different they are?

I use Norway because I know its the one Scandinavian country that has majority stake ownership in their oil company. I am really sorry if I gave the impression that you used Norway instead of Denmark. This thread I am referring happened a while and I don't think its all that crazy to think if I got some of the details wrong. If I did then I truly apologize.

I bring up Norway because they seem to have a higher income tax rate than Venezuela(which makes sense because they provide way more social programs than Venezuela), socialized medicine, free post secondary education and pension system all indications that make people scream socialism . Plus war times condition tend to make govt prioritize safety over efficient economic policies,, so I wouldn't hold them on the missteps they have taken during this period of hostility with the US

If Venezuela is more economically free, why did the Venezuelan stock market trade at low single digit PE ratios going all the way back to the early 2000s? Why would people not want to invest in Venezuela but invest in Norway? Real puzzler isn't it? Investors could have really used your posts to tell them that there is nothing to worry about. Venezuela and Norway are exactly the same.

Here is a headline from 2002 "Capital Flight Hits Venezuela; IMF Lowers Fiscal Forecast"https://www.wsj.com/articles/SB1019168278472139840

Why is capital flight not a problem for Norway? Why did Venezuela have interest rates of 44%? "The central bank lowered its discount rate to 42% from 44% Thursday."

    Here is from 2008 "
    "Venezuelan Capital Flight Reaches Record"https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/w...reaches-record

"Despite strict currency controls adopted in 2004 by President Hugo Chávez's government to limit the outflow of money"

Do economically free countries have to put currency controls, price controls, and have to raise interest rates to 50%?

I wonder why Norway never had to do these things. They are after all just like Venezuela according to you. I wonder why they are ranked relatively free in all of the economic freedom indices but Venezuela is ranked almost at the bottom. Must be racism. All I can think of.

One is in peace time period, the other has US plotting coups and military action. This is my whole argument, remove US interference and policies and results will be much different.

The world is always full of enemies trying to undermine you, if your system can't resist them it isn't any good.

And the system does more damage than the enemies.

Remove influence from world powers and most of these socialist walled gardens don't exist. The United States can't stop influencing other nations without joining the red matrix. The democrats want to bend over backwards not to offend China. Obama literally wanted to pretend China didn't exist. Trump actually cares about liberty and that means interfering with puppet states.

Don't you worry, these aren't gulags, they're democratic gulags.

I don't trust politicians but I know for sure they don't want communism or plan on bringing back the gulags.

Here I'm talking about "gulag loving commies" and then you quote me and talk about politicians. Why? Because you don't want to admit to the existence of commies that blatantly justify mass extinction for the successful? Maybe watch the project veritas expose series again. Or maybe just watch any Bernie Bro ANTIFA assault on innocent people.

You either have your head in the sand about who these people really are or you are truly the commie loving Bernie voter that you are leading us to believe. You just never cease to stop making the case.

I am sure you will also believe it when a twitter handle named ronpaul4 prez that talking about how it should be legal for parents to sell their children in the free market. False identity posting don't ever happen on the internet

Sorry but I just assumed the gulag loving commies you are refereeing to were communists. Still don't see communism or gulags in the US's future

    Classic deflection.

Don't even bother quoting me if you can't handle the debate.

Fortunately we have recordings of paid Bernie staffers saying the same things and they weren't fired afterwards.

Evidence they weren't fired? I will be shocked if they were still working after saying what they said. They should have at least fired if only to save face
