Here’s All (Edit mine - AF) Some Of the Left Wing Political Violence The Corporate Media Seems to Have Forgotten About

    https://libertyunyielding.com/2022/1...rgotten-about/

By Daily Caller News Foundation November 2, 2022

    By Sarah Weaver

The media appears to have rediscovered political violence the morning of October 28 when news broke that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul was attacked by a hammer-wielding mad man in their California home.

The days of hysterical coverage that have since followed — certainly warranted to some degree for an alleged attempt on the life of a woman third in line for presidency — nonetheless represent a pattern of disproportionate opportunism that seems to strike whenever the corporate media and Democrats decide certain violence could serve a politically expedient end.

In case they’ve forgotten or would rather not discuss it, here is a small slice of left-wing political violence over the years that has either been excused, dismissed or under-covered.

    Fire-bombings at Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers

Three pro-life pregnancy centers were firebombed in the course of one month following a leak of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Heath Center. Many of these attacks were carried out by the radical pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge, which has openly endorsed violence against pro-life individuals and organizations. Multiple pro-life centers, in Colorado, Virginia, Oregon, and other states, were vandalized or firebombed in the week after the Dobbs decision came out.

    “Mainly peaceful”

The NY Times summarizes the post-Dobbs reaction nationwide, and doesn’t even mention the attacks on cops, government buildings and pro-life pregnancy centers.

    Lee Zeldin Attacked

Republican New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin was attacked on stage during a July campaign rally. The suspect shouted “you’re done,” then rushed stage with a knife. While some on the left, such as President Biden and New York governor Kathy Hochul, condemned the attack, the media was relatively silent on what was effectively an assassination compared to their breathless coverage of the Pelosi attack.

Don’t forget that Lee Zeldin was attacked at a campaign event. Did you know? It got very little national media attention.

    2020 Summer of Riots

During the riots following George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis police custody, leftist media ran cover for activists who torched American cities. Infamously, CNN described August riots in Wisconsin as “fiery but mostly peaceful protests” while live reporting in front of towering flames. An MSNBC reporter in May also reported live from a riot in Minneapolis, saying, “I want to be clear on how I characterize this. This is mostly a protest. It is not generally speaking unruly.” As he said this, a building burned in the background of the footage. These riots caused an estimated $1 billion in damages and 24 deaths. (RELATED: 24 People Have Died Since Violence Erupted Following George Floyd’s Death)

Violent Would-Be Attack on Brett Kavanaugh

A man armed with a handgun, a knife, pepper spray, and other potentially lethal items, was arrested outside Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home in June, following the leak of the Dobbs opinion. Twenty-six-year-old Nicholas Roske said he meant to kill Kavanaugh, saying he was motivated by the leaked opinion that turned abortion back to the states. The night after the attack, pro-abortion protestors still showed up to demonstrate outside the justice’s home.

But The New York Times’ coverage of the incident was buried below the fold of their paper, as Guy Benson pointed out on Twitter.

Even a CNN analyst noticed the left’s double standard about political violence. David Gregory called out the left on live TV, saying, “the truth is that a lot of people on the left who are in political power are being so hypocritical about this.” (RELATED: McConnell, Senate Republicans Blame ‘Unhinged’ Rhetoric For Attempted Attack On Kavanaugh)

“They lecture us all the time about the excesses of the right, including Donald Trump on Jan. 6, fomenting mob violence. And yet they’re out there countenancing as they have with statements before that it’s okay to stand outside these people’s homes,” Gregory said.

    Congressional Baseball Game Shooting

In 2017, a volunteer for the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign opened fire on a Republican practice session in preparation for the Congressional Baseball Game. The gunfire wounded Republican Whip Steve Scalise. It is clear the shooter was targeting Republicans, as he asked a passerby which political party was practicing on the field before opening fire. The shooter was also an avid fan of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. (RELATED: Rep. Steve Scalise Slams Dem Candidate’s Tweet About 2017 Baseball Shooting)

Examples of political violence on both the left and the right abound. Blaming one side for political violence is a fool’s errand. Just a few of these examples show that political violence arises from the left as well as the right, despite what the media would have you think.

Biden Says Midterms Could ‘Easily Be Illegitimate,’ Then Blasts Election Deniers

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...ction-deniers/

    JOHN NOLTE 3 Nov 2022

His Fraudulency, Joe Biden, raged against election deniers on Wednesday.

You know, how they are a threat to our democracy and all that.

And yet, this comes after Biden told the country the 2022 midterm elections could “easily be illegitimate.”

During his Wednesday night speech, Joe Biden, said the following:

As I stand here today, there are candidates running for every level of office in America. For governor, Congress, attorney general, secretary of state, who won’t commit, that will not commit to accepting the results of the election that they’re running in. This is a path to chaos in America. It’s unprecedented. It’s unlawful, and it’s un-American.
    ...
I hope you’ll ask a simple question of each candidate you might vote for. Will that person accept the legitimate will of the American people and the people voting in his district or her district? Will that person accept the outcome of the election, win or lose? The answer to that question is vital. And, in my opinion, it should be decisive. And the answer to that question hangs in the future of the country we love so much, and the fate of the democracy that has made so much possible for us.
    Straight from the WhiteHousedotgov website:

MEDIA QUESTION: A moment ago, you were asked whether or not you believed that we would have free and fair elections in 2022 if some of these state legislatures reformed their voting protocols. You said that it depends. Do you — do you think that they would in any way be illegitimate?

BIDEN: Oh, yeah, I think it easily could be — be illegitimate. … I mean, imagine if those attempts to say that the count was not legit. You have to recount it and we’re not going to count — we’re going to discard the following votes. I mean, sure, but — I’m not going to say it’s going to be legit. It’s — the increase and the prospect of being illegitimate is in direct proportion to us not being able to get these — these reforms passed.
In other words, Biden is saying that if his fascist and unconstitutional voting reform laws fail to pass, the 2022 midterm election is illegitimate.

    Well.

Biden’s fascist and unconstitutional voting reform laws did not pass.

    And.

Biden has not retracted this statement.

    So.

Biden will not accept the results of next week’s election.

    So.

    Biden is an election denier.

    Which means…

According to his own definition, Biden is a danger to democracy.

    But we already knew that.

The election denial we see from Democrats and the corporate media after next week’s election will be breathtaking … and glorious.

No word yet on whether "[not] vot[ing] at all" is a "vote to end Democracy".

    (I'm guessing it is, though.)

    Biden’s ‘Big Lie’ on democracy

    https://nypost.com/2022/11/03/bidens...-on-democracy/

    By James Bovard

    November 3, 2022

In a lethargic yet indignant speech Wednesday from Washington’s Union Station, President Biden portrayed Republican voters as a deadly threat to the survival of democracy. But Joe Biden’s version of democracy contains a Montana-sized asterisk that magically exempts himself from his oath of office to uphold the Constitution.

Biden endlessly castigates former President Donald Trump for the “Big Lie” that Trump won the 2020 election. But Biden’s “Big Lie” is that he is entitled to use federal power however he pleases because he was certified the winner of that election. But 81 million votes didn’t nullify the Bill of Rights.

Speaking on the edge of Capitol Hill, Biden portrayed himself as the savior of the republic. He declared, “Autocracy is the opposite of democracy. It means the rule of one, one person, one interest, one ideology, one party.”

Like Biden’s mandate for 80 million Americans to get COVID vaccines — a dictate the Supreme Court struck down as illegal? Like when Biden contorted federal law to cancel $500 billion in student loans to give Democratic candidates a boost in next week’s election? Like when Team Biden sends FBI agents to harass parents who complained at school-board meetings? Like the Biden administration’s proposal to cancel all federal school breakfast and lunch subsidies for any state that does not impose radical pro-transgender policies on every public school?

Biden warned of “the consequence of lies told for power and profit, lies of conspiracy and malice, lies repeated over and over to generate a cycle of anger, hate, vitriol and even violence.”

Like the hatred Biden spurred towards people who did not get COVID vaccines? In his September 2021 televised speech, Biden portrayed the unvaxxed as Public Enemy No. 1, warning that “your refusal has cost all of us.” Biden sneered that vaccine skeptics only wanted “the freedom to kill you” with their COVID. He kept railing about a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” long after COVID cases snowballed among the fully vaxxed. He continues to falsely claim that the vaccines prevent transmission.

Biden offers a “Trust Me” version of democracy in which the Supreme Leader is entitled to be revered. That’s why his appointees are shrouding his abuses and failures. The Department of Homeland Security wants social-media companies to censor criticisms of Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden’s Treasury Department and Agency for International Development are violating federal law by refusing to provide any information on US spending and policies to the special inspector general for Afghanistan reconstruction. Even the Trump administration was not that secretive.

Biden touted “the rule of law” Wednesday night. But instead of that ideal, Biden offers a “paying-and-obeying” version of democracy in which citizens have no right to complain about the feds wrecking prosperity. Are you outraged about the dollar losing 13% of its value since Biden took office? You’re an enemy of democracy. Are you peeved that stock markets lost $10+ trillion this year thanks in part to Biden’s policies? You’re an enemy of democracy. Are you miffed at Biden-era high gas prices? Shut up, peasant, or we’ll cancel the driving rights of all non-Tesla owners.

Biden repeatedly invoked the specter of “political violence” to demonize all his opponents. But what about post-election violence spurred by oppressive policies imposed by winning politicians? Biden said last night that Americans settle differences “at the battle box” (he meant “ballot box”). Biden promises that if two more Democratic senators are elected, he will ban all “assault weapons.” How will Team Biden confiscate tens of millions of semi-automatic rifles? As long as Biden can claim that election victories consecrated his policies, any quibbles about the Second Amendment will be null and void.

Biden sought to paint all Republican candidates as illegitimate because of the rhetoric of some GOP candidates. Apparently, there is collective guilt for only one political party in next week’s election. But this is consistent with Biden claiming a prerogative to define the issues and non-issues for the election scorecard. According to Biden, “democracy dies” if citizens do not vote as their commander-in-chief tells them.

Biden is correct that “democracy is under threat.” But the greatest danger is elected politicians — in the White House and on Capitol Hill — who believe that vote totals entitle them to force Americans to live as they command. Let’s hope Biden’s abuses are awakening millions of Americans to the perils of dictatorial power regardless of which party controls the White House.
