Morsi will now undoubtedly becoming one of the greatest opponents of the United States just as his Iranian counterparts did, and US politicians still don't learn...even worse, we're still giving him huge amounts of foreign aid and 80+ Senators oppose Rand Paul's bill to even put some conditions on that aid.

How do you like your Arab Spring now? Do you think this has anything to do with the fact that he pushed Israel to broker a deal with the Palestinians and well, Israel doesn't like to be pushed and they don't barter. You'll recall he was a democratically elected leader about a couple of months ago....

    Flashback:

    The Egyptian Revolution
The problem with the Egyptian Revolution, which is being acted out in the streets of Cairo and Alexandria with huge demonstrations, is that no one knows what the revolutionaries want.

Fanning the Flames of Revolution in Egypt
As Mubarak's Egypt succumbs to revolution, little is none of the forces fueling the protest, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, but moreso the role of the Communist Party of Egypt in revolution's inception and current activities - thus revealing an Islamo-Communist connection.

    Turmoil in Egypt
It’s much too early to say what will be the outcome of the present popular uprising in Egypt against Mubarak’s dictatorship, but there are several scenarios that can be analyzed as possible outcomes.

    Egypt's Present Path
Though much of the world waits with bated breath to see what type of government Egypt will end up with, the shape of Egypt's government is almost a foregone conclusion.

    Egypt's Problem of Leadership
Egypt faces a problem of leadership: Will the nation find a new dictator to replace Mubarak, or will free the people by insisting upon constitutional changes that will chain the government?

    Egypt: Did Anything Important Happen?
When the Los Angeles Times confirmed that protests that started in January in Tunisia and then moved to Egypt were spreading to Algeria, Bahrain, Libya, Morocco, Cameroon and Kuwait, many concluded that they were driven by unhappy citizens connected via the internet.

Egypt Revolt Leading to Military Dictatorship
Egypt’s ruling military junta is positioning itself to keep power after elections, prompting outrage among Egyptians and talk of a second revolution.

    Cut off all aid. Yesterday.

Here is the full filibuster speech by Rand Paul on the Senate floor he gave in late September. He is not asking to stop foreign aid (yet), he is simply asking the Senate to place conditions on it, so countries can't be doing things like burning our flags, killing our diplomats, raiding our embassies, and expect the money to just be there for them regardless. Only nine Senators voted in support of this filibuster he presented. Please take the time to watch it. I know it's an hour but it is phenomenal. He tells the Senate that they, and especially Hillary for wanting to increase aid, are out of touch with what Americans want and it is no wonder to him why approval ratings are so low. He calls them out right to their faces, and tells them that the learning curve on the Senate floor is pathetically slow. It is priceless. This apple did not fall far from the tree.
