There's really no excuse for voting for either of them.

Well, I do appreciate where he says that he understands people are frustrated because nothing ever seems to happen. The rest of what he says however just shows he is part of the problem, not the solution.

yeah, he has totally been part of the problem. He was vehemently opposed to medical cannabis both times he ran for president. To not acknowledge that and now all of the sudden act like he is going to go to Washington to rectify this grave injustice is quite bizarre.

Romney, Boehner, Schumer - all now on the pro-cannabis band wagon. With more to join, I'm sure.

I guess the back-room-crony set have finally arrived at some kind of scheme to divvy up the spoils of decriminalization (regulated and "responsible" decriminalization, of course) and are now magnanimously willing to permit legalization to move forward ... (and apparently, Romney is consigliere pro diem for pharmaceutical corp. "stakeholders" and their hangers-on ...)

If it goes through pharmacies then it will probably be the synthetic marijuana that the drugs company want to control.

Here in the Netherlands MC is also distributed through pharmacies, it's controlled by the government. Essentially there is one producing company at this point in time, which sells all of it's product to a government entity (although they may now also be exporting product to different countries), which packages it and sells it to patients through pharmacies. The only 'non-natural' thing about it is that all of it has been γ-radiated. This is to make sure it is sterilised and no pathogens remain.

Cuz everybody knows that Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart stock prices have been struggling so badly the last couple years that they need to be the only dispensaries of cannabis products. /s
