Nope, he will never run for President again, thankfully. And, with the way things have been going, I have my doubts that he will run for reelection to the Senate.

I think Rand spurned teh Collins' amorous advances. I wouldn't put much stock in his predictions.

I don't think Rand will run again. He does good work in the Senate, but he rubbed elbows with the good ole boys for too long to be able to pull off POTUS for the masses. I think celebs will be the new norm. Clooney (D) vs The Rock (R) 2024

It won't happen in 2020 unless Trump is impeached, which is extremely unlikely.

2024 would be a great year to run, with Trump's full endorsement.

    Does anybody remember 2012?

I was on the national campaign trail, coordinated Congressional Districts, all of my RP Delegates won by wide margin. I participated in PaulFest and attended the RNC Convention.

Delegates fingers broken, locked in rooms. Delegate slates altered, some got caught, others didn’t, all with no repercussion. An entire states delegation held against their will on a bus, not able to get off in time to vote on resolutions.

Recorded county and state votes were submitted, only to be falsified or not counted at all.

It was the most corrupt process I have ever seen in my life.

And that was only on the surface.

I am not suggesting to lay down. But TPTB preselect who is voted for, both democrat and republican.

Utilize your efforts locally, after full and proper vetting, where you have at least some control.

Ron Paul r3VOLution believes that the only course of action is to inspire the hearts and minds of the people to the ideas of liberty and freedom.

This is to remind those who have forgotten:

In principle, I'd love to see him run again.

In practice, I don't know what he'd run on at this point.

After two years of pretending that Trump's the best thing since sliced bread, pandering to Trump's base, he can't just do an about face.

If he did try to change course and start attacking Trump, he'd be perceived as a "flip flopper;" if not, as Trump-lite.

I'm afraid the torch will have to pass to someone untainted by association with Trump, and I don't know who that would be at this point.

Rand Paul is the top of one of the top beneficiaries to Trump's online base once he is done. If Trump makes it to a second term, his support will be important for 2024.

Doesn't matter though, nobody is challenging Trump in 2020, it would be political suicide since Trump has consolidated the party almost fully behind him.

I think Trump's chances of being impeached are a little higher as Obama's while the GOP held congress. Republicans are more civil, dems are unhinged but they might just be unhinged to attain power and will become more civilized after they take power. Either way, don't let them win.

He can run as Trump's best buddy and the candidate truest to Trump's wish to MAGA.
He can run as the man who best understands what to build on Trump's foundation.

No, it's the plan for running in 2024, I don't believe Rand will run against Trump in 2020, if he does the plan will be to run as Trump's best buddy who understands how to MAGA even better than Trump and knows best what to build on Trump's foundation, it would probably be best to promise Trump a cabinet position where his positions best align with liberty.

Donald Trump would have crashed MAGA ?

“I would prefer if there is going to be some form of sanction, or what we may determine to do if anything,” the president said. “But I would prefer that we don't use as retribution, canceling the $110 billion-worth of work, which means 600,000 jobs.”

No. To explain that comment, his 2016 campaign was a disaster and quite frankly an embarrassment. It actually did damage to the cause of liberty. I don't want to see that repeated, which is what any future attempt at POTUS for him will end up being.
