Are you - once again - insinuating that everything will be solved with some happy end - like it's some Hollywood movie - and President Donald will really, really "drain the swamp"?
If only those patriotic Americans vote to reinstall the lying, crook president that's even worse than his predecessors...

There is "evidence" that Berman continued the Epstein "investigation". I don't know why it took so long before the good friend of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Fergie Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested.
I also don't know as in retrospect the plea deal was "worthless" why it took years before Jeffrey Epstein was arrested (finally).

I haven't seen Bill Barr or (any spokesperson for) president Donald explain why Geoffrey Berman was forced to step down.
I haven't seen any information (interview) of Berman to explain what happened. But then again Berman is a lawyer so will know to keep his mouth shut to not ruin his career (or worse).

As the plea deal was in violation of federal law, Alexander Acosta should also be charged for this crime.
But I don't expect that to happen!

In 2016, the butler for Glenn Dubin and his wife Eva, Rinaldo Rizzo, testified that a 15-year-old Swedish girl had been in Dubin's kitchen in 2005 and told that her passport was taken away and she was forced to have sex at Epstein's private island.
In one of those strange coincidences former Miss Sweden Eva Andersson-Dubin once dated Epstein: http://archive.is/YIt0b
Virginia Roberts Giuffre has also accused Glenn Dubin of being part of Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring.
Glenn and Eva Dubin have denied “the allegations in the unsealed court records”. The Dubins claim to have evidence that disprove that “any such events occurred”.

Eva Andersson-Dubin was in medical school when she met Epstein, and after she married Glenn Dubin they remained and became friends of Epstein.

In July 2012, Epstein issued a press release about his donation to the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Epstein´s Gratitude America also donated $10,000 to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, where Celina Dubin is a medical student: https://www.thedailybeast.com/jeffre...r-sex?ref=home

And for inevitable links from Dubin to the Trump gang...

In February 2005, Polish national Janusz Banasiak started working for Epstein as his Palm Beach house manager.
According to his LinkedIn page, Banasiak was also the “property manager” for the Epstein associated Neptune LLC (located in the Virgin Islands).

In one of those strange coincidences, in 1980 Banasiak worked for the Bronfman’s Seagram liquor company.
According to attorney Brad Edwards, Banasiak is one of several employees for which Epstein hired and paid attorneys after the federal criminal probe and civil suits filed by victims.

In August 2011, Banasiak married his second wife Rodica “Ofelia” Banasiak, who in October 2015 listed Epstein’s El Brillo Way mansion as her place of residence.
Ofelia found long-term employment working for the ex-wife of Donald, Ivana Trump until she sold her Palm Beach home in 2014.
In 2014, Ivana Trump also hired Ofelia’s daughter for a couple of month to help her move (after she had sold her Palm Beach house).

On 4 July 2019, only 2 days before Epstein’s arrest, Ofelia shared a video of the Rocky Mountains from a plane. Throughout July, Ofelia posted photos of Gunnison, Colorado, where Epstein´s friends Glenn and Eva Dubin own a ranch.
The Dubins’ longtime chef, Emily Womac, replied to Ofelia's July 21 photo at the Ouray Hot Springs, and Ofelia responded back: https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-fa...einand-a-trump

Professor of archeology, expert in the occult, and obtainer of rare antiquities, Dr. Henry Jones Jr. has been suspended indefinitely from Marshall College after multiple photos have surfaced of him wearing Nazi uniforms.

“We're shocked and horrified by Dr. Jones’s association with the Nazi Party,” said Dr. Joan Snakes, Professor of Anthropology and Prius owner, who first exposed the photos.

“The amount of time he apparently spends with Nazis is alarming. It seems like every time we turn around, he’s wearing a Nazi uniform, riding Nazi motorcycles, or entering Nazi submarines!”

When asked for comments, Dr. Jones responded, “Nazis? I hate those guys.”

“I thought he’d be able to slip out of this one by the skin of his hat,” says longtime friend Marcus Brody. “He’s had close calls before, but the walls are really closing in on him now.”

Tensions escalated when it came to light Dr. Jones once collected a signed autograph from Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

Marshall College, which has a large Jewish student population – including notable graduates George Spielberg and Steven Lucas – has taken a strict stance against images of hate on campus.

“Could there be a perfectly acceptable explanation for why Dr. Jones so frequently finds himself with the Nazi party? Maybe. But we don’t want to hear it!” Dr. Snakes continues, “If we want to create a safe and hate-free environment here on campus, we must act swiftly, without explanation, nuance, or grace.”

The suspension is immediate, with many doubting Jones will ever return.

After learning it was his colleague that exposed him, Jones moaned, “Snakes… Why did it have to be Snakes?”

Much in the still-pending Jeffrey Epstein case may depend on how the prosecution goes for his alleged long-time accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. Although Epstein’s quick death under suspicious circumstances in 2019, from hanging in his Manhattan jail cell, spawned a slogan (#EpsteinDidntKillHimself) and a thousand memes, there are reasons to hope Maxwell will survive to see her trial date in the summer of 2021.

All of the reasons map back to what appears to be a better appreciation at the U.S. Justice Department that evildoers are likely to try to take Maxwell out – just as they had motive to take Epstein out, although the true method of his death may never be proven.

One of the features of that better appreciation has already been noted at LU. Ghislaine Maxwell has been indicted, like Epstein, in the Southern District of New York. But after she was scooped up in New Hampshire on 2 July, she was transferred not to Manhattan, where Epstein had been held, but to the federal Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, which falls under the Eastern District of New York.

That arrangement alone will force would-be assassins who may have had Manhattan “wired” to leave a trail of detectable contacts by seeking cooperation in Brooklyn. It also puts two separate U.S. jurisdictions, SDNY and EDNY, in play as regards Maxwell’s processing and safety, making it less possible for anyone involved to act furtively.

The New York Post reported on Sunday (12 July) that Maxwell was being moved around frequently in the Brooklyn MDC, and had been required, on arrival, to sleep in paper garments, so that there would be nothing to hang her with in the nighttime hours.

Proactive precautions are being taken, in other words. If I had to bet, I’d bet the Brooklyn MDC has to report directly to Washington every day on Ms. Maxwell’s status. The Bureau of Prisons and DOJ leadership won’t be leaving that to the good offices of the EDNY. (In fact, they’ve probably rotated in some supervision and outside corrections officers who have no family interests in the state of New York. That’s what I’d do.)

The timing of the Maxwell grab is also informative. Back in June, when the ex-U.S. Attorney for the SDNY – Geoffrey Berman – was removed from his position, it was my assumption that Bill Barr had some reason to want him gone. It certainly occurred to me that the Epstein debacle happened on Berman’s watch. Whether that was because of negligence or something else on Berman’s part is beyond the scope of responsible speculation.

Other information I found at the time was about a case of money-laundering on behalf of Iran, which had been peculiarly mishandled by the SDNY Attorney’s office. But I was writing on 21 June 2020 as this played out, and we hadn’t yet seen what else happened on 21 June.

What else happened was that Audrey Strauss, Berman’s deputy, was announced as the Acting U.S. Attorney, and Berman left. The indictment of Ghislaine Maxwell, filed within days (based on her arrest date), was set for the signature of Audrey Strauss, with the signature block designating her as “Acting United States Attorney” — meaning she was in the job at the time, and not just signing as deputy. The (sealed) indictment, at the NPR link below, doesn’t have a date on it, but it would have been between 21 June and 2 July.

That’s a flashing red light that Berman had to be excused before Maxwell was indicted and the pre-trial process launched for her. But the indictment, which followed swiftly, was clearly already in progress.

Bear Stearns, where Epstein worked from 1976 to 1981, owned 40% of the equity in Liquid Funding. In 2008, Bear Stearns collapsed and received $853 billion in secret loans from the Federal Reserve and another $28.8 billion through a loan to purchase toxic assets to sweeten the deal of JPMorgan Chase acquiring Bear Stearns
Another Trump crony in business with Jeffrey Epstein, after he left Bear Stearns, is Steven Hoffenberg who said about his connections to Trump “Donald’s crowd was my crowd”.

In 1981, Jeffrey Epstein left Bear Stearns in the middle of insider trading accusations involving a tender offer placed by Seagram Company Ltd. (owned by none other than the NXIVM-affiliated Edgar Bronfman Sr.) for St. Joe Minerals Corp.
Epstein reportedly became an informer to the investigation that got several Italian and Swiss investors sentenced for insider trading, including Italian financier Giuseppe Tome.

In 1987, Epstein was hired by Steven Jude Hoffenberg; Epstein’s first assignments included bids to take over Pan American World Airways in 1987 and Emery Air Freight Corp in 1988.
Hoffenberg was a tenant in the Trump Tower.

In 1994, Hoffenberg was arrested on charges of securities fraud. In 1995, Hoffenberg pleaded guilty to one of the largest Ponzi schemes in history through Towers Financial Corporation to defraud investors of more than $450 million.
Hoffenberg paid a $60 million settlement to the SEC, a $1 million fine, and spent 18 years in prison.

Epstein wasn´t accused (like in the Bear Stearns insider trading case).

In February 2016, WHAM Inc. (of Hoffenberg and Theodore Fotsis) notes:
it is contemplated that the Financial Trust Company (...) and Jeffrey Epstein (...) shall provide a minimum of one billion (...) dollars in assets to the Company.

It is not clear how Fotsis and Hoffenberg developed the plan for WHAM Inc. to acquire Hoffenberg’s businesses, get $1 billion from Epstein, or launch the Trump Super PAC in June.

In May 2016, Hoffenberg filed a lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein accusing him of helping Hoffenberg defraud investors.
The lawsuit was later withdrawn with prejudice.

In June 2016, Steven Hoffenberg launched the “Get Our Jobs Back Inc.” Super PAC to get Donald Trump elected president.
That same month the Super PAC noted a $50,000,000 contribution from Statware, Inc. for Digital Media Marketing, Revenue Sharing, on behalf of “Trump J. Donald”. It is not clear how Statware´s CEO Richard LePoutre met Steven Hoffenberg or why he made a $50 million in-kind contribution.
The Super PAC closed on 8 November 2016.

Also in June 2016, WHAM, Inc. noted two contracts “for performance based consulting services with thirdparties” with future revenue of $113,000,000.
None of WHAM Inc.’s financial reports after June 2016 referred to this 113 million dollar.

In April 2016, WHAM Inc. used a new corporate website whaminc.us. This domain was hosted at the French company OVH SAS. In early 2017, OVH SAS was reported as being involved in hacking by the Russian state-sponsored Fancy Bear.
By early 2018, it appears that Theodore Fotsis had no remaining connection to WHAM Inc.
The WHAM Inc. name changed several times (to BERTIH Holdings and then to Syntrol).

An interesting change came in January 2018, when Pavel Birjukovskis of Latvia took ownership of the whaminc.us domain and hosted by the ITL company since. ITL, based in Ukraine, has been prominent in the Trump-Russia story and was reportedly the host for the Blacktivist.info website that also leased servers to Greenfloid LLC, a Florida registered company. Greenfloid LLC ran the sites blackmattersus.com and DoNotShoot.Us. In 2017, these were reported as troll sites.
In September 2016, ITL also hosted Whoiswhos.me — controlled and used by the Russian Internet Research Agency that hosted malware.
More recently, ITL was linked to the VPNFilter hacking campaign, which was again linked to the Russian state hacking group Fancy Bear.

No, it suggests that he was not going to indict her so they started preparing the indictment and got rid of him so he couldn't block it.

Son of US District Judge Esther Salas killed, husband shot

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) — A gunman shot and killed the 20-year-old son of a federal judge in New Jersey and shot and injured her husband Sunday at the family home, the state’s chief district judge said.

The shootings occurred at the North Brunswick home of U.S. District Judge Esther Salas, and killed her son, Daniel, Chief District Judge Freda Wolfson told The Associated Press. Her husband, defense lawyer Mark Anderl, was injured, Wolfson said.

The gunman posed as a delivery driver, according to a judiciary official who wasn’t authorized to comment and spoke anonymously to the AP. They said Salas was in the basement at the time and wasn’t injured and her husband is recovering from surgery.

More recently, Salas has presided over an ongoing lawsuit brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the company made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies and failed to monitor “high-risk” customers including convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In 2005, the husband and mother of U.S. District Court Judge Joan Lefkow were shot and killed in the judge’s Chicago home. A suspect killed himself and left a suicide note admitting to the shootings. That suspect said he broke into the home with the intention of killing the judge.

But if you dig deeper, you'll see that Lefkow, at the time, was targeted by a shock jock conspiracy theorist that lived in NJ.

MEANTIME, IN TRUE NEWS: The shooting came days after the judge was #$%$igned a case with links to Jefferey Epstein, although there is not yet any suggestion that the attack is linked her work. The attack began at around 5pm when Mark Anderl answered the front door to the family home. He was shot several times. Daniel, a student at Catholic University in Washington, D.C., then went to investigate the commotion and was fatally shot. The gunman then reportedly fled the scene.

Son of US District Judge Esther Salas killed, husband shot
    46 minutes ago

[B]More recently, Salas has presided over an ongoing lawsuit brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the company made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies and failed to monitor “high-risk” customers including convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A year after a dam of secrecy burst over the sex-trafficking case of the now-deceased Jeffrey Epstein, a federal judge Thursday ordered the release of another torrent of files.

The soon-to-be-public documents come from a 2015 lawsuit against Epstein’s accused accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, whose depositions in that case form the basis of two now-pending perjury charges against her.

U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska tore through a bid to have the files kept sealed because Maxwell considers them either untrustworthy, embarrassing or an interference with her criminal investigation.

“Ms. Maxwell proffers little more than her ipsi dixit,” U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska said, using the Latin phrase meaning her say-so. “She provides no specifics as to these conclusions.”

The public may soon have a chance to see Maxwell’s deposition that prosecutors contend show her lying under oath.

“In her first deposition, which is among the documents being considered on this motion, Ms. Maxwell refused to testify as to any consensual adult behavior and generally disclaimed any knowledge of underage activity,” Preska noted, describing what appears to be the same testimony quoted in her federal indictment.

“In the context of this case, especially its allegations of sex trafficking of young girls, the court finds that any minor embarrassment or annoyance resulting from disclosure of Ms. Maxwell’s mostly non-testimony about behavior that has been widely reported in the press is far outweighed by the presumption of public access,” the judge added.

Other eyebrow-raising documents slated for release include Epstein’s correspondence with Maxwell and the deposition of one of their most prominent accusers: Virginia Roberts Giuffre, whose lawsuit five years ago alleged that Maxwell groomed her to be Epstein’s “sex slave.”

Giuffre claims that Epstein passed her off to his rich and powerful friends, including Britain’s Prince Andrew, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, financier Glenn Dubin, model scout Jean-Luc Brunel and former Senator George Mitchell. The men have denied the allegations, and prosecutors formally began the process seeking the British government’s help to question the prince.

The day began with U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan, who is presiding over Maxwell’s criminal case, denying a gag order requested by Maxwell’s attorneys against prosecutors and attorneys for the witnesses in her criminal case.

Rejecting the argument that Maxwell’s right to a fair trial was at risk, Judge Nathan reminded all of the attorneys that the court’s rules already prohibit anybody from making statements that could prejudice a jury.

“The court will ensure strict compliance with those rules and will ensure that the defendant’s right to a fair trial will be safeguarded,” Nathan wrote in a 1-page order.

Later that morning in a telephone conference, Preska unsealed dozens of files from the Giuffre v. Maxwell docket.

After Geoffrey Berman was ousted as US attorney, President Donald nominated Jay Clayton for SDNY US Attorney, who was previously installed by Donald to head the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Clayton, who Donald likes to “oversee” (not) prosecution of the major banks, has previously represented 8 of the 10 largest Wall Street banks when he was an attorney, partner at the Sullivan & Cromwell law firm...
Jay Clayton has worked for UBS and the Deutsche Bank that was recently fined $150 million (after charges brought by Berman’s office) over amongst others its relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
He also represented the film studio of Harvey Weinstein.

Clayton represented Goldman Sachs in perhaps its most important deal, the $5 billion investment by Warren E. Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway during the 2008 financial crisis. His wife, Gretchen, has worked at Goldman Sachs...
In the last year, Jay Clayton earned some $7.6 million from Sullivan & Cromwell. He has investments in Apollo Global Management, Bain Capital (founded by Mitt Romney), J.C. Flowers and Perry Partners.

Jay Clayton has also represented TeliaSonera that has business ties to Russia and Iran.
The deals Clayton was involved in, included its stake in Russian mobile phone operator MegaFon, with the Russian Altimo that has long been controlled by the notorious Russian billionaire, Chabad-Lubavitcher Mikhail Fridman, who is best known for controlling the Alfa Group (including the Alfa Bank that communicated with the Trump Organization and the Spectrum Health of the DeVos family during the 2016 election campaign): http://archive.is/VVahu

Clayton is by no means the only lawyer Trump has nominated, appointed with ties to the Alfa Group...
See Rudy Giuliani with the heads of Alfa Bank; Mikhail Fridman (left) and Pyotr Aven in Moscow at Alfa’s “Award for Excellence in Foreign Investment in Russia”.

Jay Clayton has also arranged Initial Public Offerings for a number of companies, including the $1.2 billion Och-Ziff Capital Management IPO (of Dan Gertler, the Chabad-Lubavitcher plundering the Congo).

During the financial crisis of 2007–2008, Clayton advised Bear Stearns in its fire sale to JPMorgan Chase in 2007: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Clayton_(attorney)

Two months after he completed his detention in Florida, in August 2010, Jeffrey Epstein atttended a screening party of “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” in the Southampton mansion of David and Julia Koch, at the invitation of Peggy Siegal.

This party was attended by some people close to Donald Trump (besides Jeffrey Epstein):
    Treasury Secretary, Bonesman Steve Mnuchin;

    Trump lawyer, Rudy Giuliani;
    Blackstone CEO, Steven Schwarzman;

    Billionaire, Henry Kravis;
    Equity king, Leon Black;
    Department store heir, Jonathan Farklas.

According to an eye witness Epstein was “greeted warmly by guests” and:
It was the first time he has been out in two years, but nobody blinked he was there.
He was chatting to Jonathan Farkas, Wilbur Ross and Leon Black. He was sitting right near Rudy Giuliani.
One observer noted that Giuliani walked out of the theater around the same time as Jeffrey Epstein.

Jonathan Farkas is related to Andrew Farkas...

Andrew Farkas is a prominent New York developer who’s friends with Donald Trump and was a co-owner with Jeffrey Epstein in the American Yacht Harbor, on the east side of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.
Andrew Farkas (Island Capital Group LLC CEO) made introductions for some of the biggest New York business magnates, including Donald Trump and his good friend Carl Icahn to Dubai.

Trump lend his name to a Nakheel project, and Carl Icahn got more than $2 billion in investments from Dubai for the failed Time Warner takeover bid.

In 2017, Andrew Farkas brought his girlfriend and Dubai Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem to Donald’s inaugural ball.

Ghislaine Maxwell has lost a desperate last-minute appeal to stop “embarrassing” confidential documents from being released.

US District Judge Loretta Preska confirmed her ruling that the files must be unsealed and released to the public, despite Ms Maxwell’s lawyers' “extraordinary request” for her to reconsider.

The depositions are Ms Maxwell’s only on-the-record account of her association with Epstein and his sex-trafficking ring. Her attorneys argue it was given under an expectation of confidentiality that had been agreed to by both sides in the dispute.

Transcripts of the depositions were designated “confidential” and subject to a "Protective Order".

However, they came to be in the hands of the US government, which used statements made by the heiress to charge her with perjury in an indictment filed last month.

Parts of it were unsealed by a judge last year.

In an April 2016 interview with Ms Giuffre’s lawyers, Ms Maxwell was asked: “Did Jeffrey Epstein have a scheme to recruit underage girls for sexual massages?”

To which she answered: “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

During another deposition in July of the same year, Ms Maxwell said: “I wasn’t aware that he was having sexual activities with anyone when I was with him other than myself.”

Prosecutors at the Southern District of New York claim she was lying when she said she was not to be aware of Epstein’s assaults on women and underage girls.

Judge Preska ordered that the release of documents relating to Ms Maxwell's deposition should be pushed back to Monday to give her legal team time to argue their case before the Court of Appeal. All other material in question should be unsealed, as planned, on Thursday.

Here’s my “favourite” Clinton-link posted by forum derailer @Swordsmyth (one of many) to Trump associate Viktor Vekselberg (the busines partner of fellow Chabad-Lubavitcher Len Blavatnik): http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthr...=1#post6647914

When US attorney Geoffrey Berman was fired (formally forced to step down) by Donald’s Attorney General Bill Barr, Trumptards where cheering that he was fired because 1) he didn’t investigate Joe Biden and 2) refused to continue the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein.

Then President Donald nominated Jay Clayton, a corrupt laywer who looks like selected by Wall Street banks to head the SEC. Clayton has earlier represented the Trump and Epstein affiliated Deutsche Bank and Bear Stearns.

That’s the Apollo Global Management of which none other than Leon Black is chairman.

Leon’s father was Eli M. Black (1921–1975), who’s best known for owning the United Brands Company and who died in another reported “suicide”. According to the DEA, in 1978 United Brands smuggled 20% of the illicit drugs into the USA.
From 1977 to 1990, before co-founding Apollo, Black was employed by investment bank Drexel Burnham Lambert (that collapsed in a scandal involving junk bond king Michael Milken).

I guess it’s just another one of those strange “coincidences”...

The problem for me is that all starts off biased when the article says "people at the party were close to Trump(besides Epstein)"

That right there is just a desperate attempt to keep Trump's name next to Epsteins. No mention of any lefties. Just another hit piece cuz of TDS. If an article is only trying to call out Trump with Epstein its complete horse $#@!. This scandal spans both sides of the aisle and all levels of pols. To try and pin it solely on him is disingenuous at best. He is either in on it and Ghislaine will disappear without saying anything or he is the only one going to prosecute these people, only time will tell.
