    Rand Paul answers members questions

    As noted here...

I was interested in any questions site members would have for Rand Paul as I was going to be able to ask him a question or two. At this point, the mission has been accomplished. I appreciated all of the questions, it certainly would have been great to get to ask a lot but I was more than pleased with the outcome. Here's the run-down...

    Feel free to rephrase that.
Good question, I couldn't quite get this question in but he did talk some about the SCOTUS and the general take is to do it right.

I was able to ask what is the best way to improved monetary policy, he said there is little appetite for change but thinks an audit the fed is a great first step. An audit should be a much easier sell since we're not changing anything and there shouldn't be any harm in trying to understand what the fed is actually doing.

To the first point, I wasn't able to ask but Rand has a very consistent and even-tempered demeanor which allows him to manage situations.

edit: Also, anything about his conversations with Trump would be interesting.
I did bring up the site but didn't ask about visiting. We may have to get some aids or a Paul family member to get those tapes. lol.

He did talk about his meetings with Trump. Rand's well tempered demeanor has allowed him to provide his view / input to Trump, who respects him. Apparently they meet periodically.

This would be good to know but he certainly wouldn't tip anything not already known.

Good point, he was thanked several times, I was unable to offer the same due to time, unfortunately. There is obviously a danger.

Good question but I wasn't able to ask it as the philosophical nature would have needed a lot of time. He did however talk about the difficultly of advancing our message since we are selling an intangible concept that has delayed benefits.

I thought this was a very practical question and I was able to ask it. A few points on his response:
    - E-mail reps on hot issues, they will receive statistics (90% are in favor...)
    - Find the best pro-liberty candidates in primaries and pile up support.
    - Join a group and get involved.

Is there a reason to be more hopeful?
This is a really good question, and also action based practical. I was able to ask the part on allies and also picked up some views from other statements. Here's what I got: Massie and Amash, obvious. Mike Lee was high on list. Ted Cruz can be good, it's helpful when he is leaned on. He gave praise to the Republican Liberty Caucus.

Thanks again to everyone who asked questions, sorry I wasn't able to get more. Hopefully we can do something like this again soon.

Thanks Bryan, I suspected the answer to my question might be Top Secret but it was the best one I could think of, not knowing the answer is uncomfortable and I think it is slightly demoralizing to his fans especially because he made a term limit pledge, if he doesn't run for the senate again he should try to ensure Massie gets his seat.

    Thats awesome,

I guess if I took it seriously I would've wanted to know which one of his 2018 endorsements does he want us to help most.

Not really a good idea to single out sacred cows online on a public forum where they could become a target easier anyways. Any good questions he would have to answer indirectly. Rand, in your next interview, say: "The interesting thing is" twice if you are under duress.

Kelli Ward could use some help. If only we could get an old style money bomb for her. She has a better chance than many candidates who raised a lot of money in the good old days. The neocons and establishment are pushing hard for her rival in the Primary. They even got old Joe Arpaio to play spoiler. The damned old fool.

The Mercers just put another 500k in a super pac for her but you're right, with the establishment pick raising a ton of money, Joe Arpaio AND Apparently Adam Kokesh is running on LP, Kelli is fighting up a steel hill.

Seriously, Adam is a joke, why is he running for Senate.

I think the only thing she has going for her is Trump's potential endorsement but her polling has to be close enough for him to make a difference otherwise he won't do it.

Awesome he did this! Thanks for doing this Bryan.

Sadly, I see no response to my question. That is unfortunate.
