That image was originally posted on 8chan, so someone in his campaign had to have pulled it from the website in a thread with far worse anti-semitic images. To argue that they had no idea what the image symbolized is to be extremely dense. At best, they have no problem pandering to neo-Nazis and white supremacists. My guess is Trump has some cancerous 8chan idiot on his campaign's payroll. This isn't the first time, so you can't make the argument that Trump is oblivious to it. If he really disavowed it, this person (or these people?) would have been fired a long time ago.
I mean, even the white supremacist site The Daily Stormer picked up on it rather quickly with the headline, "Glorious Leader Tweets Hillary Image with Dollars and Jew Star."

This is weird because all the evidence points to Trump being very pro Jewish people. His close business partners, daughter (jewish convert), son inlaw, grandchildren are all jewish. He loves Israel so much that he cut a commercial for Bibi, criticized Ron Paul for not being pro Israel enough, he even insisted that the only people capable of counting his money are religious jews.
He is clearly not anti semite which leads me to believe that he is trying to sabotage his own campaign. I think this is his attempt to make sure he is soundly defeated in the general election so her friend Hillary can win.

Not all Jewish people are so stuck up about the star and the money thing. I know several Jews who talk about this kind of thing and they even give Christmas presents. To put all Jews in a fold and say they are all offended by x, y or z is just wrong... Seinfeld was the one who made famous the "Soup Nazi" as a comedy bit. There are some Jews who are offended by that still but others not. There are even Jews who believe in the "Jewish banker" conspiracy (which I think has some truth to it). There are WAY too many Jews to all be in on it you know. The vast majority are getting the short end of the stick like the rest of us peons...

Then there's the whole hornet's nest over who "Jews" actually are. That's my suspicion. how much of the pro-Israel is just rhetoric ? Trump and BB are both strong personalities, used to getting the upper hand in any deal. I can't imagine Trump just rolling over and saying yes, BB to everything. and Israel needs the USA far more than the USA needs Israel. and Trump has a bit of Teflon as his daughter (and also Hillary's daughter) are Jewish. so the anti-Semitic charge won't stand up.
