All things considered, I wouldn't transfer to another school, but we've had that discussion before and that's me.

Hopefully you have pinned down what you want to do, or at least the general category. I would make a list of what's generally important. How close to your family do you want to be? What kind of climates can you stand? What kind of climates can your vehicle survive? Do you even HAVE a vehicle (which will dictate what sort of area you move to)? By this point you should have some areas on the map that look more appealing than others. Within those areas, what schools will best jive with what you want to do and what level your grades are at? Be realistic and research the academic rigors before you jump in head first.

As for the observation about partying, even a rinky dink school can provide the partying atmosphere if you know where to look for it; it's really not a huge factor.
Genuine, willful, aggressive ignorance is the one sure way to tick me off. I wish I could say you were trolling. I know better, and it's just sad.

I'm a Horned Frogs fan so if I was going to a private university in Texas I would probably pick TCU. Thing is they are so expensive so it would be nice to try to find one a little cheaper if possible

being close to family is not important,I have a truck and I can stand any climate but I do prefer the South. I think with my grades I will be able to get into most schools

As a graduate of the Florida Keys Community College, I gotta tell you, it is a great school and location. A lot of people that were successful in their real work life, retire there, get bored and decide to teach some classes. eg: my calc teacher was a retired nasa engineer.

It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Well. Cnsider Melissa WV or Lindsey on this one.

I'll tell you, though, I don't even use my degree. It sits in a drawer under some junk. I used to have it hanging up. But then I stuck it in a drawer. Then I started putting my junk on it when I got done with them. Like my Rubiks Cubes and crossword puzzles and whatnot.
