One thing I know right now is that whenever I vote it won't be a for a Democrat and I will be voting for the furthest right/most liberty oriented names on the ballots.

And libertarians trying to be cool and saying "I'm not voting for the lesser of two evils" or one of its many variations refuse to provide adequate options outside of that. And no, joining the LP and "educating" people ain't cutting it in case you haven't seen.

People have underestimated the number of Democrats in this country. They dominate literally every large city. They won't be turned for anything and I've seen every single one say they will proudly vote for Biden over Trump again in 24 if those are the tickets.
The GOP could get more support if they actually appealed to younger voters and ran on solving problems that they are facing. I remember constant whining from Republicans about the youth vote going to Obama in 2008. With that attitude I can see why a lot people wouldn't want to vote for Republicans.

Howard Dean Predicts Dems Could Win 8 Senate Seats; Says Young Women Will Vote in Droves over Abortion

    PAM KEY 31 Jul 2022

Former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean claimed Sunday on MSNBC’s “The Katie Phang Show” that the Democrats could flip up to eight seats in the U.S. Senate in November’s midterm election.

Dean said, “The real driver for us is going to be two things. One has already happened. That was the so-called Dobbs decision when Roe v. Wade was thrown out. That has put an enormous amount of turmoil into this election. The second day something that hasn’t happened yet, but if it does happen, I think we are going to pick up seats in the House, and I think we’ll pick up the seats in the Senate in any case. And that is forgiveness of student loans. The age group that favors Democrats most significantly is under 35. Those folks often sit out midterm elections and are disillusioned with President Biden. So I think the student loan stuff is essential.”

He added, “People are going to be driven in droves, particularly young women, over the abortion being thrown out by the right-wing Supreme Court, so I am very optimistic about our prospects in November.”

Dean concluded, “I think the intensity on the Democratic side is going to be driven by abortion. It is hard to take rights away from 50% of the population that they have had for 50 years. That is right the right-wingers have done. And I think they’re going to pay a price for that. I think we can pick up three to five and possibly even eight seats in the Senate. I think Iowa is in trouble for the Republicans, places that you didn’t expect. I think Florida is in trouble for the Republicans, North Carolina in addition to the ones that really always talks about like Pennsylvania.”

    6. Trump never vetoed bills, the costliest bills which dwarfed Obummer’s.

Bush’s were rotten to the core, there’s no dispute there at all. But what Trump did was play Pied Piper, and “republicans” fell and followed him hook line and sinker.

He’s a GD New York Lib, who ran with an R after his name. The people [R’s] got exactly what they deserved, and then Biden got in and continued his policies, one of which was rolling out OWS. On the tax payer dime.

Trump amassed more debt than every president in the history of the U.S. of A.

I agree. They're incredibly stupid and usually fail to capitalize on moments such as now to get out the vote. They are out of touch and that's what pushed a lot of people to stay Dem or go Indy.

And MAGA people thinking there will be a red wave are stupid. The Biden admin will trot out student loan forgiveness at the most opportune time. They'll run on the abortion platform which will nab most women, and they'll keep nailing Trump up on the wall. In time, with full majorities of leftist Dems, we'll start seeing moves against the Supreme Court to stack it or make modifications, more socialist spending, etc.

This is why if anyone wants a chance to fight, join the GOP, turn it to liberty and promote liberty candidates. We did get Massie, Amash, and Rand in with those strategies which is far more than the Libertarian Party can say.

Both so-called sides are sold out. The only difference to me is that the Republicans can't push us into world government as fast as the Democrats, because their supporters would pitch a fit. Anyone who supports Biden at this point is dumber-than-dirt, so they are probably all in for world government. Communism sounds good to them.

Angling for the youth vote has been tried by numerous politicians numerous times. And as a strategy to stake winning or losing a whole election on, it has a proven record of failure.

Generally speaking, young people are dumb, and they don't vote anyway. Sure there are exceptions. But you don't win elections on the exceptions.
There is nothing to fear from globalism, free trade and a single worldwide currency, but a globalism where free trade is competitively subsidized by each nation, a continuous trade war is dictated by the WTO, and the single currency is pure fiat, fear is justified. That type of globalism is destined to collapse into economic despair, inflationism and protectionism and managed by resurgent militant nationalism.

    Bingo.

I don't know why this is so hard for some folks to internalize.

Millions of people want everything that is unfolding right now, and will vote for more of it.

Voting by 18-29 year olds has grown explosively in the past couple of cycles.

2020 was the highest voting rate yet at 46 percent overall.

Voting by young leftists in urban areas are much higher than that.

Democrat Voters Have What They Want

The problem is people like Howard Dean are playing to the ignorance of their voting base because abortions haven't been banned in the states where Democrats are in control. In fact, in my current state, we're receiving the abortion clinics which have been expelled from nearby conservative states, so abortions will be more available in my state within the coming year, which is an absolute atrocity.

The fact that so many rank-and-file Democrats are ignorant of the actual effects of the Roe v. Wade overturn and are willing to be manipulated into thinking it's a "women's rights" issue is despicable.

"May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in moment of great crisis, stood up to their politicians, the opinion-makers, and the Establishment, and saved their country." - Dr. Ron Paul
