Agnew was the son of an immigrant . Spiro Theodore has a WW II Bronze Star , a Combat Infantry Badge and was recalled in '51 for the Korean War. He served a short time as a Platoon Leader in the 54th Armored Inf Battalion and was at Bastogne . Tax evasion for accepting a few bribes ? Pfft , that hardly makes him a criminal by modern politician standards . Compared to the misguided people america has been voting for since , Clinton , Gore , Kerry , Obama , Biden , Clinton , Bernie etc , he was much more qualified to be a president and a conservative patriot .
