I need to process this. Seems like a stunt. Can he even get ballot access? If real will blacks even vote for him? Given his Trump support I would say no, but if they did, it could help Trump.

    Kanye 2020 (no lie)

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/rapper-ka...023307380.html

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - American rapper Kanye West, a vocal supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump, announced on Saturday that he would run for president in 2020 in an apparent challenge to Trump and his presumptive Democratic rival, former Vice President Joe Biden.

We're being governed ruled by a geriatric Alzheimer patient/puppet whose strings are being pulled by an elitist oligarchy who believe they can manage the world... imagine the utter maniacal, sociopathic hubris!

This should help Trump if he can get on the ballot in some swing states.

I've been saying for awhile that a Kardashian will run as we've shown a realty star can become President. Although this is not a serious attempt as he is late to the game.

The debates in Hamilton were quite amusing, might make politics more popular.

Kanye is never shy to raise his voice in politics or court controversies; he stood up for BLM/social justice during Katrina with his "George Bush doesn't care for black people" call on live TV and has been in political limelight over the years with Tyler Swift award grab incidence, post MAGA slavery comments (that incidentally provoked Uncle T-word shading from some in African-American community), involvment in prison refom and recent Trump/US government led pressure campaign for release of Somali-American rapper A$AP Rocky in Sweden. His latest album just released also has strong political/social justice tones opening with BLM protests video coverage.

This 2020 move could be just to use media publicity to raise awareness about BLM/social justice movement sweeping America these days but time will tell. If he didn't drop out soon to endorse GOP-Adelson supported Trump-Pence 2020 ticket, next few months safe-distanced election campaigns could get interesting especially if he again joined hands with controversial neoconservative globalist Dennis Prager/Tuning Point USA camp's Candace Owens.

Insiders think Kim Kardashian is behind Kanye West’s political about-face
    June 8, 2020
Kanye West was a vocal supporter of President Trump, but now his support of Black Lives Matter has some music insiders scratching their heads and wondering if Kim Kardashian is behind it.
One source even told us Kardashian — who has become a vocal campaigner for criminal justice and prison reform — was the catalyst for him to act. West sprang into action last week, creating a college fund for George Floyd’s daughter, Gianna, and donating $2 million to BLM organizations. He also marched with protesters in his hometown of Chicago.

On a side note, claim in post #7 seems too incredible and controversial, only reliable MSM reporting has been about so called Kardashian "IR" tape that allegedly set sales records.

KANYE BREAKS WITH POTUS... "I've Been Used!"

Kanye West says he's been used by people to spread political messages and he's now done with it. Kanye just fired off a series of tweets apparently distancing himself from politics. He said, "My eyes are now wide open and now realize I've been used to spread messages I don't believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative."
Ye went on to thank his family and community for "supporting my ACTUAL beliefs and my vision for a better world." He also expressed compassion for people seeking asylum and parents fighting to protect their children from violence and war.
And, he said he supports common-sense gun laws.

Looking at Kanye's full video statement in above tweet, have to say he was spreading Black Lives Matter/Social Justice messaging way before it became a national movement / became "cool" politically. Incidentally, lately anti cancel-culture Obama had called Kanye 'a jack ass' at one point during that phase.

Not sure how much boost Kanye's 2020 campaign could get from this but big GOPA play:

Treasury reveals 700,000 of the companies and non-profits who got PPP bailout - with Kanye West's Yeezy company, Khloe Kardashian's denim brand and Donald Trump lawyer's firm among those benefiting

    • Loans were through the administration's Paycheck Protection Program
    • Meant to inject cash into the economy to prevent massive layoffs
    • Sidwell Friends school got $5-$10 million loan
    • Law firm of longtime Trump lawyer Marc Kasowitz also got one
    • Kanye West's LLC Yeezy got $2-$5 million
    • Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had initially refused to name any recipients

The Trump Administration's coronavirus bailout program handed out up to $5 million to prop up Kanye West's production company while also pushing out funds to the law firm of Donald Trump's longtime personal lawyer, the Treasury revealed Monday.

That news report wording may have been used to reinforce media's fakenews narrative that 'Trump was racist' and thus Kanye had abandoned his Bush era racial justice/Black Live Matter activism by wearning MAGA hat. Kanye's comments on slavery did suggest he struggles with articulating a clear message at times and his apparent collaboration with neocon Parger protege Candace Owens was bit bizarre, though questions raised then about his mental stability seemed too harsh. Latest report yesterday said something like 'he's done with Trump', could be he also tries to mimick Trump's highly specialized art of political flip flops as coping mechanism for inner conflicts of a great musician artist who finds himself in a complex political situation. Last part is just speculation.

More specifically, instead of running as a Democrat or Republican, Kanye would run under the new banner of what he called the
    "Birthday Party."

"Because when we win, it's everybody's birthday," Kanye said.

If he's "done with Trump" it could be that "Trump is about done." There's little more that Kanye can expect to get out of Trump. The rumors are that Trump is pissed at Jared Kushner for pushing him (Trump) to support criminal justice reform when two years latter he has nothing to show for it politically. (Blacks seem hell bent to vote for the a$$hole that wrote the 1993 crime bill instead of voting for the a$$hole that undid it. Style over substance I guess). Even if Trump wins I don't see a "Second Step Act" in the works. But if is convinced he might LOOSE from a Kanye candidacy he might make some concessions. But I doubt a Kanye candidacy will gain any steam.

Kanye West tearfully revealed during a campaign event in South Carolina Sunday that he had urged Kim Kardashian to have an abortion when his wife was pregnant with their first child, North.

“She had the pills in her hand,” the rapper, 43, said during his rambling speech at the Exquis Event Center in North Charleston. He told the crowd that God told him, “if you f--k with my vision I’m going to f--k with yours.”

Now, knowing 6-year-old North, he is aghast, he said.

“I almost killed my daughter,” he said, later adding, “No more plan B, plan A.”

West showed up to his first presidential campaign rally in protective gear on Sunday, sporting a vest labeled “Security” and with “2020” shaved into his hair, as he addressed gun violence, opioids and abortion, among other topics.
