At this point, with Trump, Cruz and Kasich backing off their respective pledges to support the GOP nominee, there is no practical reason Rand has to honor his pledge to support Trump if he were to be the nominee.
And of course, Rand being the big kidder that he is and it being April Fools, yea it will probably be some sort of joke.

I don't think Trump was a worse influence peddler than Monsanto, the military industrial complex, big pharma, teachers unions, no, probably not even in the top 10 or top 20.. I doubt he breaks the top 100. There are probably worse influence peddlers than Trump at the state level, in almost every state.
What was he peddling for, the Casino Industrial Complex?
I respect people's opinion who think that Trump is pro-establishment, he very well could be. But I haven't decided yet, there doesn't seem to be any clear indication on whether he is working for them to elect Hillary or whether he actually wants to turn the system over as some others believe. There is a lot of evidence on both sides.

Dear Rand and Ron Paul. After the endorsements of Ken Buck, Ted Cruz, RINOs in the Texas delegation, Mitch McConnell and Mitt Romney, I've lost all faith in your endorsements. Yes there have been some good endorsements, but there have been some godawful ones as well. Quit endorsing already. Thanks. And hopefully this is just an April Fools joke.
