    Absolutely.

My preferred solution was shutting off the spigot, but military, with machine guns, is a much better approach. Let’s not only raise taxes, let’s crowd fund too and buy the gov goons machine guns!

Seems like that would be a cheaper solution to what might turn out to be a temporary problem.

If laws can be changed to take away the incentives that are attracting those people the problem would probably be reduced a lot.

Problem is, that takes time and a cooperative congress.

It will be easier to put the military on the border than to end entitlements, in fact we simply can't end entitlements right now and we never will be able to as long as the invaders are allowed to flood in.

    Get rid of the partisans.

Overton window Overton window Overton $#@!ing window.

You've been around a while. Surely you've noticed the Overton window moves right when Democrats are in charge, and left when Republicans are in charge. The reason is painfully simple. Partisans let 'their team' get away with murder.

That's why Democrats in disguise like Trump are the most dangerous animals in Washington. Only Democrats hold their feet to the fire.

Or a declaration of Martial Law at the border, I will now be attacked for suggesting that but this is war and we are being invaded.

So exactly how does that stop the flow of socialists entering the United States?

History has proven that it is always easier to shrink government once you've grown it enough than it is to prevent it's growth in the first place.

Wait, no it hasn't! It's just the opposite! What the hell was I thinking??

The first step is to admit they're already here. The second step is to stop enabling them because they're "on our team".

What did Angela say? VVV Time to stop crying about the " other team". They're only half the problem.

We are always running out of time. Orwell told us that much. How do you make it happen? You educate and you accept no substitutes. Mostly, you just live your life the way you see fit, regardless of what they do. And you don't live in fear. There is no "easy" way, but increasing government will make it harder. Always does.

Ideally, you'd find another Ron Paul and clone him, but that's not happening either. The issue at the border will never be "solved" by government. We'll always be out of time. It is meant to be used as an issue for fundraising and ratings. And, of course, to fill the bellies of their friends.

Neither one is my or "our" team. The problem is, there is only going to be one team if this keeps up and we are not going to be a part of it.

They will most likely though, force our participation to some extent.

Are you going to embrace Big Brother too?

The border can be solved by government doing its job and history is full of examples.

There is already one team. Unless you count the people and their government. Or are you still hanging onto the quaint idea that the political parties are different from each other? (outside of marketing, of course)

And why "force" you into participation when they can just scare you? Remember, the left's media scares them, too.

I am a little confused about that.

Wasn't the flow in February, the greatest in more than a decade?
Four months into the fiscal year the Border Patrol nabbed nearly 201,500 people, compared to about 109,500 at the same point in the previous year. If that 84 percent surge holds, it works out to 733,000 immigrants crossing illegally for fiscal year 2019, which would be by far the highest numbers in more than a decade.

I suppose we could declare an emergency?? You'd even have my support on that one. Seeing as how the real emergency is the debt.

Trump isn't importing the illegals, They are being encouraged to come in order to try to beat his attempts to secure the border.
I was referring to legal immigrants that Trump has talked about increasing but all of his actions have reduced them.

That's a great idea, what emergency law would give him the supposed authority to end the WoD, end the welfare state and get rid of all artificial incentives?
How would he avoid impeachment? Or how would you ensure that the emergency policies would continue under Pence or Pelosi?

    It was.

The Fifth Gen Warfare (because that is precisely what this is) generals running this invasion know their stuff.

They know they are very close to achieving their objective.

California has fallen, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona are close behind.

They realize the that "targeted for displacement population" is corrupt, stupid, weak, decadent and divided.

A few more waves of a few million will do the trick, so, like the Battle of the Bulge in WWII, they are throwing everything they have into the gap.
