Regarding the AD express from Russia to Syria
Any wheeled S-300/400 TELs can be transported by air
But the tracked TELs ie: S-300 VMD must be transported by sea, plus the Pantsirs-Buks-Tors

Currently there are 3 ships heading towards Tartus.

Israeli stealth F-35 fighters tests S-300 system in Syria -
    https://en.muraselon.com/2018/10/isr...-system-syria/

Israelis are now looking for a fighter jet that S-300 system cannot detect of destroy.

According to a Russian expert, if F-35 stealth fighter managed to break through the area space covered by S-300 system ,
the Russian military will obtain significant information about the US-made warplane.

These info will enable the Russian military expert to increase the sensitivity of the radar system.

“But will the Pentagon give Israel the green light for such a risk? Here lies the main question”, the expert said.

For this specific reason, the Israeli air force assigns F-15 and F-16 Hornet to counter the S-300 system.
...the fourth generation fighter jets will fail to surpass the S-300 barrier.
But is this the case for F-35?

Dave Majumdar, an Israeli military expert who conducts defense reviews for National Interest:
“The Israeli pilots can definitely deal with one S-300 battery, but with a network of it: never”,
“They [pilots] have to look for blind spots”.

Majumdar stressed that the success of S-300 system heavily depends on the locations they are deployed to, as well as the operating party.

“It turned out that Israeli pilots have secret air routes to follow.
For example, when they bombed Hama and Aleppo, it looked like they came from nowhere....
This is only possible if Israeli engineers are capable of copying the response codes, then – in certain cases –
allowing the US fighter jets to fly along the Jordanian and Iraq borders without prior warning”, he concluded.

For reference, the F-35 has an estimated frontal radar cross section of about 0.005 m2, while the F-22 has 0.0001 m2, according to GlobalSecurity.org; for reference, an insect is about 0.001 m2 on a radar. These are likely estimates/assessments, as actual data tends to be highly secretive.
So while the S-400 could probably detect the system, this would likely be at a relatively close range. One of the most important air superiority missions flown by the United States is “SEAD”, or Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses. One of the primary SEAD weapons is the AGM-88 HARM (“High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile”) missile, which locks onto active radars on the ground. Theoretically you could turn off your radar and the HARM wouldn’t be able to track you anymore, but later versions of the HARM missile have countermeasures to take that into account.
The latest version of the HARM is the AGM-88E AARM-ER (“Advanced Anti-Radiation Missile, Extended Range”), which fits in the internal bays of the F-35 (and therefore, the F-35 would maintain its stealthy nature). The missile itself has an operational range of around 300 km due to a new motor that doubles the range from previous versions. Unfortunately, I’m not aware of how far away the missile could detect a radar and obtain a lock. The F-35’s own passive sensors (passive radar + EODAS/SAIRST) could also detect a radar and transmit its location to the missile, but again, I’m not sure of the max detection range of these systems, as they are passive, not active, systems.
So, in summary, the U.S.’s likely primary method to achieve air superiority in an environment where S-400’s are known to be deployed will likely involve extensive use of stealth fighters (particularly the F-35, as it can internally hold SEAD-capable HARM missiles; the F-22 cannot internally carry these). How effective these things are at that role is something that is reserved for expert military analysts and assessments, using data, intelligence, and information that common people like me do not have access to.

Russia Completed Delivery Of S-300 To Syrian Military

How Russia will ‘blind’ the Israeli warplanes in Syria
    https://en.muraselon.com/2018/10/isr...-syria-russia/

►Russian forces will implement electromagnetic jamming for satellite navigation, air-borne radars and communication systems.
►Jamming will cover the Syrian coast and nearby regions over the Mediterranean, and will mainly target the Israeli warplanes
►Previously involved [only] in collecting intelligence.
Now things have changed when the ‘active mode’ is employed.
►From the moment enemy fighter jet takes off, it is labeled as a target and assigned a number by the automatic control system.
If the jet is thought to have unfriendly purposes,
►we initiate the electronic jamming which will disable the communication, navigation and GPS systems,
as well as the ability to control and transfer data.
►In in a nutshell, the enemy plane will be gradually blinded”.

“Moreover, the enemy plane shall be notified that it is being tracked.
The only guarantee for it to return safe to its base is giving up the mission.
Otherwise, the plane will face an electronic disaster”.
“After sending repeated warnings, if the pilot decides to enter the danger zone,
all control systems of the plane will be completely disabled.
If the pilot insisted on carrying out a hostile action, then firing a missile might be a plausible option”.

Dear Israel: 'If You Won't Speak to Lavrov, You'll Speak to Shoigu'

Dear Israel: 'If You Won't Speak to Lavrov, You'll Speak to Shoigu', Russia's #1 Anchor (Dmitry Kiselyov)

    Transcript:

Last Monday, President Putin informed his Syrian colleague, Bashar Al-Assad, over the phone about his decision to supply the S-300 air defense systems to Syria. The decision was made after our reconnaissance aircraft was shot down over the Mediterranean Sea on September 17th.
Russia placed the blame for the tragedy on Israel. The Russian government found Israel's excuses insincere and unconvincing, claiming that Israel's actions were in conflict with the level of trust and cooperation that existed between the two countries up until the Il-20 tragedy. The new measures taken by Russia will create a protective umbrella over Syria.

    Dmitry Kiselyov

This situation reminds me of an old joke: "If you don't want to talk to Lavrov, you'll to have to speak to Shoigu."

It's no secret that Shoigu speaks in a military tone of voice.

Here it is. He even broke it down for everyone to understand.

Sergey Shoigu, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation:

“Firstly, the Syrian Armed Forces will be supplied with the advanced S-300 air defense missile system within two weeks. It is capable of intercepting air threats at a range of more than 150 miles while simultaneously hitting several aerial targets.
Secondly, the command centers of Syrian troops and military air defense units will be equipped with automatic control systems, which have so far only been supplied to the Russian Armed Forces. Most importantly, it will ensure the identification of all Russian aircraft by the Syrian air defense forces.

Thirdly, in the regions over the waters of the Mediterranean Sea bordering Syria, Russia will jam the satellite navigation, onboard radar, and communication systems of combat aircraft which attack targets on Syrian territory.
We are convinced that these measures will calm down some hotheads and keep them from committing careless actions which pose a threat to our servicemen. Otherwise, we will have to respond in line with the current situation.”
As for Israel, it's having mixed feelings. In the heat of the moment, some say they'll find a way to suppress the Russian air defense systems and continue airstrikes against Syria.

Others are asking themselves: Is it worth radically changing the tone of Israel's relationship with Russia?

There are even those who are thanking Russia for the lesson. Take an article by Gideon Levy, a famous journalist, published in Haaretz, one of the most respected newspapers in Israel, for example.

“Thank you, Mother Russia, for setting limits on a child whom no one has restrained for a long time. Russia has outlined for the world a way to treat Israel, using the only language Israel understands.”

Amid such statements, the idea of setting up a state committee that would decide whether conducting further airstrikes against Syria is appropriate is being voiced louder.

    Well, hopefully, it works.

    From the Saker:

This week Russian officials declared that the delivery of S-300s for Syria was completed and … added that, if needed, this figure could be increased … it is still unclear which version of the S-300 was delivered to Syria. … until the specific version of the S-300 becomes known it will be very hard to assess the potential impact of this delivery. …

a lot has been made from the fact that the Israelis have had many years to study the S-300s delivered to Greece, but what is often overlooked is that the version delivered to Cyprus and which was later re-deployed to Greece was the (relatively outdated) S-300PMU-1. The probability that the Russians would deliver this version to the Syrians is close to zero. …

just four launchers are not very many, but are enough to protect any one specific part of Syria. … However, this is certainly not enough to create a complete no-fly zone over the entire country …most likely explanation is that the S-300s delivered to the Syrians will protect a few important strategic Syrian targets … the statement that an additional 4-8 launchers could be delivered … is both a sign that the Russians want to keep their options open while, at the same time, creating a deliberate ambiguity …

Syrians need most … higher numbers of Pantsirs-S1/2 mobile medium to short range air defense systems. … ideal to protect against cruise missile strikes, they can also protect the S-300s, … if the Israelis decide to try to destroy them …

What S-300s primarily add to the Syrian capabilities is not so much the ability to intercept more missiles, but the ability to track and engage AWACS and other battle management and reconnaissance aircraft at very long ranges. … an S-300V4 could make it impossible for the Israelis to put up an AWACS at any useful range. …

it remains equally unclear, perhaps deliberately, which electronic warfare systems Russia has deployed (or will deploy) in Syria and in what numbers. … this presents a more formidable capability than additional S-300 launchers. … these electronic warfare systems are extremely powerful force-multipliers which can dramatically increase both the Russian and the Syrian defensive capabilities … Electronic warfare is one field in which the Israelis have always enjoyed a huge superiority over their Arab victims and the fact that this has now changed is an extremely distressing development for them …

the Israelis have declared themselves both superior and invulnerable so they will continue their policy of (completely illegal) aggression against Syria. … the Israelis might decide to stick to basically symbolic attacks against unprotected targets … The second option would be to use ballistic missiles and long range artillery and strike some real targets. Finally, the Israelis could try to launch a complex and large air attack on the Syrian air defense systems … if successful, it would just result in more air defense system deliveries from Russia. … I imagine that the US commanders are rather angry with the Israelis for creating this situation). …

but if the Israelis are determined to continue striking Syria, the Russians will have to deliver even more systems.

Speaking of the Israelis, their big delegation which traveled to Moscow apparently only succeeded in further irritating the Russians. I had speculated that they might present some kind of exculpatory evidence but I was wrong: apparently, they had nothing to say besides “Iran is bad” and “Syria is responsible”. This is what caused the Russians to show a record of the radar data of the Russian S-400 in Syria to prove that every words of the Israelis were lies, lies and more lies. …yet another proof of the absolutely amazing combination of gross incompetence and breathtaking arrogance of the Israelis. The way they conducted their entire attack is already a testimony of their gross lack of professionalism, and they only added insult to injury when they showed up in Moscow and looked the Russians straight in the eyes and lied about everythingWhen Putin spoke of a “chain of tragic circumstances” he was very politely trying to give them an out … but … They did what they always do: they doubled down and accused all their critics of antisemitism. …

During the past year the Israelis informed the Russians about their planned airstrikes in Syria via their deconfliction line only in 10% of the cases. … in spite of having promised to do so in their agreement with Russia. In sharp contrast, the Russians always informed the Israelis … as did the Americans towards the Russians. But the Israelis simply think that they don’t have to abide by any kind of norms of behavior. That kind of contempt for agreements (and for non-Jews in general) is typical of the Israeli mindset and it will eventually bring the downfall of the last openly racist regime on the planet.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, is to meet with Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, for the first time since July in a sign of thawing relations between two of Syria’s key power brokers.
Russia-Israel relations deteriorated sharply after the 17 September downing of a Russian IL-20 spy plane, which saw 15 Russian crewmen killed by Syrian air defences during an Israeli strike.
Mr Netanyahu told his cabinet on Sunday that he had spoken with Mr Putin and would soon meet him to discuss military coordination around Syria, a battlefield that has drawn the two countries into at-times fraught opposing stances.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he told Russia's vice premier in talks on Tuesday that Israel must continue to hit hostile targets in neighbouring Syria, despite Moscow's decision to equip Damascus with advanced air defence missiles.Netanyahu said at a press conference that he told Maxim Akimov in talks in Jerusalem that Israel would continue to fight what it says are Iranian attempts to entrench itself militarily in Syria and channel advanced weaponry to its Lebanese ally, Hezbollah.
Despite the delivery of the S-300 air defence systems to the Syrian military, Israel was committed as a matter of self-defence to continue its "legitimate activity in Syria against Iran and its proxies, which state their intention to destroy us", Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu, who met Akimov on the sidelines of meetings of a bilateral economics committee, said he believed that the current dispute with Moscow would be resolved.
"I think that with common sense and goodwill we can come to a solution that will allow the continuation of the good coordination between the Russian and Israeli militaries," he said.
At the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, Netanyahu said he would meet Russian President Vladimir Putin soon to discuss coordination.
The leaders have spoken at least three times by phone since the September incident.
