South Carolina GOP Censures Lindsey Graham

Tonight at the regular monthly meeting of the Chesterfield County Republican Party, members utilized a roll call vote to pass a 29-point resolution in favor of censuring Senator Lindsey Graham.

The yeas carried the evening with 98% of the vote. This reflects the continued frustration of many in the party with officials who are elected as Republicans and then seem to forget the doctrine of the party.

She's done. Time for a new lady (Nancy Mace) to represent SC in the Senate. Or go with a real man (Lee Bright).

    Missing File

Just like many governmental documents, this web page just happens to be missing. We’ll fix that as soon as possible, but please continue reading on www.BenSwann.com.

    Surprised to see this one:

His belief that government spying on American citizens without due process is an acceptable practice.
Sounds like a few liberty people in that county

Holy hell. The censure mentions Rand directly twice and indirectly on several of Rand's key talking points.

    8. Supported Obama's drone program against American citizens

: In March of 2013, when Republican Senator Rand Paul bravely stood up to the White House to seek reassurancesthat drone strikes would not be used on American soil in contravention of the Constitution,Senator Graham stated that he was “disappointed in Senator Paul and that his positionswere 'not a Republican view.'”

    10. Supported giving foreign aid to terrorist governments in the Middle East:

In October of 2012, when Republican Senator Rand Paul began running advertisements attacking Democrats for voting to continue foreign aid to Middle-East countries who are actively anti- American, Senator Graham defended the Democrats.

I am not really sure what it means for him to be censured. Does it disable his voting in Washington?

No. It's just a formal reprimand. And in this case, it's 29 reasons to not re-elect Graham.

A formal, public reprimand by a deliberative body.

Bright and Mace need to be meeting with these county parties that are shelling Flimsey.

Lindsey's odds of returning to D.C are at best only 50/50?
lets assume the fall GOP contender wins it by 5% easily, so
if we garner enuff teapartiers, Lindsey gets to be retired?
