Nigel Farage says Brexit Party WILL stand in next General Election: Leader says he will use the EU elections as a 'springboard' to take on Tories and Labour

Mr Farage's new Brexit Party has come first in some European election surveys

He said MPs would be 'very fearful' of what his new movement could do to them

Ex-UKIP leader said he wanted the EU poll to be 'first step of a massive change'

Q&A with Brexit Party Leader Nigel Farage

Why return to frontline politics? Our MPs have betrayed Brexit and we can't let them get away with it

Why set up the Brexit Party? Because I'm not prepared to let the politicians in Westminster walk all over us

Describe what you see in Westminster A career political class and a two-party system that simply cannot cope with Brexit

You have been in politics thirty years – Have you ever known a greater sense of anger? No – and there is a real appetite to change politics for good

What can the Brexit Party realistically achieve at the European Elections on May 23? On the day of our launch I put a £1,000 bet on the Brexit Party to win the European elections. We will be sending out a clear message to Westminster

And then what follows? We will go on to fight by-elections and local elections. The genie is out of the bottle. Voters are looking for real alternative – not just a protest vote

Will Brexit ever be delivered? Eventually Brexit will be delivered but we must not be downhearted and have to keep on fighting

    When? See above

Will you stay in politics until the result of the EU referendum is honoured? Yes, because the job needs to be finished

How will you be remembered by history? As someone who was not willing to give up

Whatever his motivations, past or present, all he actually does at this point is promote nationalism.

Maybe Nigel isn't controlled opposition, or maybe he is and so is this guy:

Top UKIP candidate makes the case it is OK to rape young boys

It sure looks like somebody wants to destroy UKIP, the only question is whether Nigel is part of that or saw it coming and is trying to create a replacement.

Brexit Party kicks off campaign in Wales

The Brexit Party's lead candidate in Wales has called for leave supporters to use their European election vote to send a "strong message" to Westminster.

Welsh MEP Nathan Gill said people in Wales had been "betrayed".

The Brexit Party kicks off its campaigning in Wales on Tuesday, with visits from leader Nigel Farage and former Tory MP Ann Widdecombe.

It is one of eight parties fighting the European elections in Wales, taking place on 23 May

The Brexit Party has been formed by Mr Farage to fight the European elections, campaigning for the UK to leave the EU straight away.

"People are angry, people need to know what they can do," Mr Gill, who was elected for UKIP in 2014, said. "And we're saying to them, you can have another vote.

"You can go to the ballot box and you can reiterate that message that you gave in 2016 that you just want to leave the EU."

As rank-and-file Tory members conspire to finally oust Theresa May from No. 10, the party is facing a donor rebellion that will restrict its ability to campaign during the upcoming EU Parliamentary vote, and also leave it in a difficult position if the opposition succeeds in its push for a general election.
Donors from the business community, who in the past have been a significant source of financing for the Tories, are abandoning the party and instead donating to either campaigns for a second Brexit referendum, or Nigel Farage's Brexit Party (which is leading the Tories in the EU Parliament elections polls) or Boris Johnson's leadership campaign, according to Business Insider.

The shortage of funds has reportedly left the Tories with just £1.5 million ($2 million) in the bank.
The situation has grown so dire that the CEO of the party, Mick Davis, has reportedly been forced to dip into his own pockets to cover some of the costs of the upcoming EU Parliamentary vote. He has reportedly told MPs that supporters have refused to donate because of the infighting over Brexit, which has threatened to tear the party apart.
"There’s a lot of money sloshing around, but most of it isn’t going to the Conservatives," said one source who spoke with BI. "The conservative party is struggling because people don't think they're delivering on their promises," another said.
The support for another referendum comes as Labour has reportedly re-committed to supporting a second referendum if they can't secure a general election.

Nigel Farage's Brexit Party surges to a NINE point poll lead ahead of the European elections as he rules out a bid to become an MP because he is too BUSY

    - The Eurosceptic party is now on 30 per cent according to a survey by YouGov
    - In contrast Jeremy Corbyn's party fell one per cent to 21 per cent since last week

The split between him and UKIP was honestly largely over class reasons and kinda petty.

What do you mean? Bigotry isn't a sufficient reason to say, "this party doesn't represent me or my values"?

Tommy Robinson isn't a bigot. He's a gruff, working class, football hooligan type who has been persecuted by his own government (up to and including imprisonment) and censored by tech giants. But he's no bigot and his views have become only more nuanced since leaving the EDL.

A YouGov survey for the Times put Mr Farage’s party on 30 percent – up two points since last week – to Labour’s 21 percent (down one) and the Conservatives’ 13 percent (unchanged).

In an alarming sign for Theresa May, more than half of those who backed the Conservatives in the 2017 general election said they would back the Brexit Party in the European elections.

Voters also described Brexit as the most important issue facing the UK in the run-up to the elections, with more than twice as many voters mentioning it as health, crime or the economy.
