Portland Man Thrown in Jail For Defending Self Against BLM; Bail set at a quarter mill

You can't win in this backwards society. The protected class will throw you in the clink for defending yourself against another protected class.

His name is Mike Strickland, a Portland man who has for several years attempted to document the dangerous hypocrisy inherent in the far-left movement that has emerged within the United States. Last year Mr. Strickland was assaulted by an anti-gun rights activist – an assault that left his arm broken in three places.

Yesterday, an angry mob of Black Lives Matter and anarchists gathered around him as he attempted to film the Portland protest. Strickland, who has a legal concealed carry permit, clearly feared for his safety and pulled his gun, warning the crowd to get back.

Don't agree with the arrest or bail- Portland is a combination of hippy-cool and tyranny government- but glancing through the video I didn't see any blacks.
    There is no spoon.

You don't actually think he watched the video, do you?

He pointed his gun at at least a few people who were in camera that were in no way being aggressive. And he is the only one on camera that was being aggressive....

At one minute in, Mr. Strickland says he was "surrounded". The video doesn't appear to show that. And why was he pointing his gun at people just trying to get him to back away from the crowd?

You had a few individuals making a menacing encroachment towards him. I have no problem whatsoever with his behavior in this instance. These type of lunatics already broke his arm once before.

You didn't see the guy with the bandana around his face who started making a beeline towards Strickland. He even drops his backpack to signify that he's ready to rumble.

Your right about Portland (been there, done that). It's communal-socialist hippes that are sanctimonious eco-groupthink operating on moral fallacy. Dare yourself to think outside their box and hell breaks lose.

We're being governed ruled by a geriatric Alzheimer patient/puppet whose strings are being pulled by an elitist oligarchy who believe they can manage the world... imagine the utter maniacal, sociopathic hubris!

Even the lefties think they are bad.
SHA is too big to bully, so you leave them alone. But a struggling restauranteur is a weak target and so you find that better from a cost/benefit analysis POV? While I support people trying to become active in their communities, picking your battles based on who you can intimidate sounds like you're more of an organization of bullies and crybabies than a social action network. We need to be struggling against the real baddies, not $#@!ting on our own neighbors. Wise up or remain sidelined.
