Doesn't matter. Elon asked Frohnhoefer to give better numbers. He didn't.

This is the puddle I swim in and the way engineering works is that basically anybody can correct anybody and it's generally welcome as long as it is not done in a way that will throw egg on the face of the senior engineer. They want to have the most up-to-date/correct numbers and this kind of information is very valuable, so when someone provides it, they're thankful. But obviously, there are wrong ways to do it and Frohnhoefer's Tweet is a textbook example of what not to do. Engineering is a highly technical discipline and nobody has time for critics... if you think it can be done better, do it... if you have better information, share it. Sitting on the sidelines sniping at the work of others (whether senior, junior or peers) even has a name... we call it bikeshedding. Another term I would suggest for it would be "Reddit-threading". A pointless exercise in academic footnoting one-upmanship. "Those numbers are two weeks old." OK? If you have better numbers, provide them (along with source), or shut up. Working from the most recent available data is no crime. If you have more up-to-date data, share it in a helpful way (and feel free to keep your condescending tone to yourself, we all already have a mother nobody needs a second one.)
