Be Prepared: Girl Scout Motto

[Working Poor]

"Be Prepared" is the Girl Scout motto. Being that I am an old school Girl Scout I put the motto "Be Prepared" in my heart. I joined them to learn about prepping and to get my first aid certification. I also worked to receive many other badges; sewing, cooking, edible plant identification, gardening, farming, animal identification, camping ect...
I felt that being a Girl Scout would help me in my quest to be a free and healthy person even way back then and I took my girl scout activities very seriously.
I have always included my Girl Scout affiliation as a part of my credentials. I went all the way thru the Girl Scout program. I received a scholarship for my studies.

I want to encourage anyone who is a parent of a girl to consider getting them involved and help shape the future generation of women. There are many employment and volunteer positions available all over the country.

Below I have copied the Girl Scout creed:

And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Authority deserves a very slight deference because that makes civilization possible but it should lose it as soon there is any reason to suspect it.
