Trump says he will pardon a 'very important' person on Tuesday

President Donald Trump said on Monday he would pardon a “very, very important” person on Tuesday, but added it would not be leaker Edward Snowden or former national security adviser Michael Flynn. “Doing a pardon tomorrow on someone who is very, very important,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One. He declined to offer further details except to say it was not Flynn or Snowden, a former U.S. National Security Agency contractor now living in Russia who has been charged with leaking secret information.
On Saturday, Trump said he was considering a pardon for Snowden, who gave a trove of secret files in 2013 to news organizations that disclosed vast domestic and international surveillance operations carried out by the NSA.

Let me guess, it'll be someone who worked for him and/or said nice things about him...?

Assange (contra Snowden, who, until recently, he wanted to hang) created bad news cycles for his political enemies.

Therefore, Assange is both wonderful and terrific.

Do you think Assange should get a pardon?

    Many do.

Snowdon may yet get one as well.

Have to admit my earlier skepticism is starting to look misplaced if this is confirmed news.

Advance annoucement could also mean this would be some high profile pardon. Don't recall such an advance tease when Dick Cheney/Iraq WMD intel linked Scooter Libby, Obama admin punished critic Denish D'Souza, anti White Slave Act implicated Jack Johnson were pardoned by Prez Trump.

Maybe, that's not what this is about.

I don't often say anything about Adolf Hitler, but, when I do, I look squarely at the current government. Der Trumpenfuhrer is not nearly as clever as Adolf, which is the one bit of good news that we have. A retard of this sort, who would have been forcibly sterilized by the national socialist German workers' party, isn't going to do a thing, except continue being retarded. However, I am very much concerned that some more clever person might take up Retard's mantle and do something.

All this talk of hanging or not hanging people (by said retarded person) doesn't help.

How about Scooter "Swamp Thing" Libby?

Ah, he was already pardoned, nvm..

  25. #22
Well, Assange isn't pardon material in the technical sense, so whoever it is, I expect to be underwhelmed.

  26. #23
No, it's not Ghlaine or Epstein.

    +rep.

But in the interest of defending 'follow the money' doctrine, Iraq war pusher Scooter's pardon was a very important milestone as he was larger than life neocon and top funder of MAGA Revolution happens to be a neocon too.

preemptive pardons have been done. Nixon was a good example, pardoned for everything without even being charged.
