But hard to say what will he do in the end as he seems to have multiple positions on almost every issue and is an "intentional liar" accoding to his friend Scaramucci. But he has been a major supporter of tough border control/sealing policy of our closest ally (as have been both major US parties) and recently sent them $Billions in US military aid.

And, the very reason our founders required "representatives and direct taxes" are both to be apportioned. If California wants to increase their representation in Congress by counting illegal entrants, so to is their apportioned share of any "direct tax" to be increased, proportionately to their representation in Congress. The formula being:

Let’s get down to some upsetting facts regarding California‘s 55 electoral college votes.


The total share of federal taxes paid by the people of 18 states [New York, Texas, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Washington, Connecticut, Maryland, Colorado, Arkansas , Nebraska, Delaware, Rhode Island, New Mexico, and Wyoming] works out to be a higher per capita amount then paid by the people of California. And yet, the state of California has an overwhelming 55 electoral college votes compared to any of these states!


The rule of apportionment requires an equal per capita tax whenever Congress lays a direct tax. But California, although it exercises its apportioned share of representatives, is not paying its apportioned share of any direct tax laid by Congress.

BTW, the rule requiring "direct taxes" to be apportioned, has never been altered by our Constitution!

US Citizens are assets/employees/shareholders of the federal corporation we call the "US Federal Government" thus are eligible to cast votes in elections for various officers of the corporation. Illegal immigrants are not and therefore are ineligible to participate in electing the corporation's officers. No different than how you can't vote for an officer or Board member of a corporation that you don't own stock in. Ever wonder why they're called "illegal"? They're not part of the corporate "legal" framework that the system operates under. Are you "legally present"? That term doesn't have anything to do with borders. It refers to one's "legal" status, not your physical location.
