But...here again, our forefathers in their infinite wisdom decided to allow for this in our constitution by allowing states to collect certain fees and adopt regulations. Yes, the constitution guarantees our right to bear arms but in a society of laws, the states have adopted some that even though I disagree with. I can walk around with my AR or my handgun through open carry laws but I would much rather have the element of surprise. The price a payed for that was small.

I get that yo are an anarchist. That is your choice but if you ever find yourself in the position of using a firearm while not having a permit, not only will it cost you dearly in terms of economics, if you do have children like myself, they will also suffer without you as parenting is literally an impossibility from a jail cell. Not only is this a federal offense, it also means that you forfeit your right to actually own a firearm thereafter. I have friends who are in prison right now for just that, being a felon in possession of a firearm. There is NOBODY that is going to come to your aid and spend 10's of thousands of dollars to keep you out of jail...lol. I had a friend in Vegas who decided to make a stand in his own home under those circumstances and defend his right to bear arms while being a felon. It has been over 10 years and he is still in prison. How did that work out for him and his family?
