I am confident some people climb that success ladder with a smile, intellect, charisma, good looks and great work ethic. Short, fat, ugly people are at a disadvantage. These days a person must use all their assets. Nothing wrong with looking your best and putting your best foot forward. Furthermore, I would be willing to wager that the best dressed well manicured man will likely score the most beautiful babe.

Since when has "using all their assets" been used in regards to a man involved make-up?

I'm betting that even in corporate USA a man in make-up is hindered more than helped...(FYI, my clients are the sort who have achieved corporate success)

My assertion is that men in make-up are hindered in their corporate climbing endeavors.

Anybody who works in close proximity to some dude in make-up is going to notice, it's obvious on women one day to the next, what makes you think some guy is going to do a better job than a broad?

The guy is not wearing it to make a fashion statement. He is not wearing eye liner and lashes. He is going for the natural effect.

Men who wear make-up ARE off, they're not normal and the are hindered in all but the weirdo circles and women and other men do notice if they're around them.

Doesn't have to be a freak show. I would bet that in the future men will prefer to preserve their health and looks. Nothing freakish about wanting to look and feel good.

Preservation is one thing, makeup is another.

Hair grows out of most people's scalps, makeup does not, makeup fits with femininity but not with masculinity.

I am sure a lot more men use make up than is commonly known. Many people know how much looks plays in getting a better job. I would say that looks are more important than education or experience. I am sure a lot will say it is not so. Lucky for me I don't care if you agree with me or not.

The men that I know who use make up mostly use it to cover skin flaws they don't do anything radical. Not all men who use make up are drag queens...
