    1) Many people come here to READ liberty news without having to search for it themselves.

    2) The long time members here have very low bull$#@! tolerance towards authoritarianism and are quick to whip those touting policy out of liberty party line.

    3) There is a rational fear that making strong anti-state political stances on the net will invoke a SWAT raid.

    4) On subjects such as monetary and fiscal policy... most people don't comment because they recognize their own ignorance and prefer not to display it publicly.

    5) One can only assume that several of the non-posting logins are state agents keeping tabs on the anarchists.

'We endorse the idea of voluntarism; self-responsibility: Family, friends, and churches to solve problems, rather than saying that some monolithic government is going to make you take care of yourself and be a better person. It's a preposterous notion: It never worked, it never will. The government can't make you a better person; it can't make you follow good habits.' - Ron Paul 1988

    There!

I just skewed your poll by voting that I'm shy.........

    None of the above.
I log in quite often, but rarely post because there is no real exchange of ideas on most threads. It seems like most people are just interested in making some witty comment.
And heaven forbid someone makes a statement that challenges the status quo of the forum they get banned. I don't have any exact examples or linked threads, but I've seen it happen.

Because under the 'Law of Large Numbers' and the '80/20 Rule' 80% of all posts and threads MUST come from no more than 20% of the RPF registered folks.
