This country has been voting for the lesser evil since Herbert Hoover. And where has that gotten us? The nation was free in 1928. But it could be worse, right? Look at the bright side! Does a cyclone have a silver lining? Quick, count your blessings before they're taken away! Four legs good, two legs better!

This place began as a place dedicated to shifting the paradigm, and turned into a paid commercial program for the allegedly lesser evil. Dig a hole for it.
I suppose it's good to dream if one wants, I did and it got me nowhere. It took me awhile to figure out that reality actually dictates the outcome too. Reality is the real enemy here, and one must get to know their enemy well first.

Also, DACA/immigration is a big GOP base issue lately that is not on this list.
That is true and you make a very very good point folks could learn from based on reality. Things change... And when things change there is a need to adapt and change tactics. The same old rules of engagement and tactics just will no longer work and become futile and unproductive. They become wasted effort and time that would be better spent in a more productive direction.

What is really sad is the DNC has to get 24 candidates to run against Donald J. Trump.
Yeah, they should just run Hillary again, to make it easier for Zionist global stooge Donnell.

So we need to go back to trying to use party affiliation to judge which evil is slightly less evil, and bestow power on it?

That's not a case of "will no longer work". That's a case of never did work.

We tried something different and our first try didn't work. So we need to go back to the same old thing that has been getting us screwed for ninety years. Gee, can we? Oh boy!

Oh, I'm sure if you were to spell out "a more productive direction" we'd all be grateful and enthusiastic. Got one? Because the only thing we've gotten from these seeming lesser evils is creeping tyranny.

In the meantime, I'll be happy to stuff your whole post in that quote box, because it (like electing the evil we think might be less evil than the other, nearly identical evil) doesn't change one damned thing.

Do you actually think human nature can be changed in mass? It's unfortunate, but reality dictates you can't change human nature and to think so is just fooling yourself. We are stuck working with what we have available good or bad and what we have is not perfect and never will be.

Reality is, choosing the lesser evil from among the candidates with enough name recognition to be perceived as being "in the horse race" is beyond not perfect. It's aiding and abetting evil. Working within parameters established by your enemy isn't pragmatism, it's stupidity. Bowing to "dictates" never changed the world, only going out on a limb ever did that. And human nature does respond to seeds being planted; after humans have eaten enough $#@! to make that seed grow, they can and do change their collective habits.

Americans are eating a lot of $#@!, and somebody's seed is going to grow. You seem to be saying we should stop "wasting our time" planting seeds and let the communists plant all the seeds. Surely I'm misunderstanding you.

Remember, children! Voting for a winner feels good! So everybody rally around the guy the MSM gives the most attention to, no matter how bad! There's no point in trying to set a precedent that would do the people some good, like a party primarying a sitting president for breaking every single one of his promises. Hurrah! Want a trophy? I'm sure the MSM and Deep State have one for you! Or, at least, they'd have one for you if your efforts on their behalf had an ounce of subtlety, class or originality.
It's not about the actual winning or losing, if weld ran away with it anyone who voted for him would still be a loser.

    Again E_D shows massive TDS.

Anybody that is smart knows these early polls mean absolutely nothing. Not just for Trump, for anybody.

You just can't help make these threads and its actually pretty insane how obsessed you are, in my opinion of course.

FFS, Faux news is just another neocon slag with slightly less left leaning material. When all the other mouth organs were giving Trump 90%negative coverage they only gave him 51%. And somehow this makes them something special?

Hopefully GOP Congress reps won't play in the hands of Deep Stage and assume that MAGA is a lost cause for 2020, he's still a very formidable candidate against Dems despite what such fakenews Fauxnews polls might say.

Timing might be coincidence but couple of days after release of this poll a Republican Congressman statement (saying that MAGA did impeachable things) is unfortunate. Under the guise of defending MAGA, Romney is suddenly exerting himself in the limelight trying to raise his profile. GOP base had been burnt badly by Bush-Cheney when they gave them 8 years of Obama anguish and to some extent by left wing policies of GOP-Adelson/Jarvanka wing lately but they deserve better leadsership than what they have been getting... unless someone can logically demonstrate that they don't.

Don't know much about DB's political bias, so should exercise caution.
But if this is factual finding, could spell big trouble for GOP-Adelson neocon wing in 2020, considering that MAGA has already alienated part of GOP conservatives with some of his left wing policies.

Why Black Voters Are Gravitating to Biden

Yes, his civil-rights record is spotty. But Joe Biden had Barack Obama’s back for eight years, and people will remember that.

    Adam Howard
    05.17.19 10:34 PM ET

On Jan. 12, 2017, a very moving and apparently unexpected tribute from President Barack Obama for Vice President Joe Biden played out live before television cameras, when he awarded his former rival-turned running mate-turned trusted adviser and friend the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Much of the country was still reeling from Trump’s win, and millions would be stunned just eight days later by the bizarre conjuring of “American carnage" in a gloomy, divisive inaugural address.

During those dark days, that genuine moment between two of the most powerful men in the world was a bittersweet reminder of how a certain kind of empathetic humanity was leaving the White House for at least four years (it was hard to imagine Trump ever doing something as selfless for Mike Pence, for instance). In his remarks, Obama laid out many of the attributes and accomplishments that have long endeared the vice president to voters (he enjoyed a 61 percent approval rating at the time) but also may have resonated with African-American voters in particular.

“My family is so proud to call ourselves honorary Bidens,” Obama said. Biden, and perhaps some viewers at home, were moved to tears. After all, this was quite an arc for someone who had once dismissed the first black president as “clean and articulate.” He was now “Uncle Joe”—beloved star of memes but also, a white man from an earlier generation who nevertheless always had Obama’s back.
