Question Why did Dave Ramsey endorse Zach Wamp for TN Governor?

Why did Dave Ramsey endorse Zach Wamp for TN Governor?
http://www.zachwamp.com/?p=3248&utm_...=Google+Reader

- Zach Wamp voted for the bailouts.
- Zach Wamp lied about his tenure in Congress (promised to serve less terms than he has)
- Zach Wamp wants to unionize all police, fire, and EMT's in the country
- Zach Wamp is the king of pork in TN
- Zach Wamp touts himself as a conservative but his voting record shows this to by hypocritical

- Dave Ramsey doesn't like liars
- Dave Ramsey doesn't like bailouts
- Dave Ramsey is (was?) a fiscal conservative
- Dave Ramsey has railed against the bailouts and socialism (which Zach Wamp voted for)
- Even talk show host Phil Valentine thinks Zach Wamp is unfit to be Governor

I would like to see Dave Ramsey further explain why he has decided to support Zach Wamp for Governor?
This is very puzzling and unsettling.

Heh, Ramsey probably just endorsed him to spite you, Collins.

I don't think Ramsey has ever been that serious of a fiscal conservative when it comes to politics. He generally doesn't get too political on his show, so I'm a bit surprised he endorsed anyone at all. But when he does get political, yes it's true that he rails against big spending, but it's also true that he mocks Ron Paul and seems to like the GOP pretty much the way it is.

It may be that he has some personal background with Wamp in this case.

No Dave is very anti socialism and has repeatedly said that "we need to fire the butts of the people who voted for these bailouts"

That might actually be more true than you know. But I can't talk out of school

Raised is inconsistent: he advises his followers to avoid bankruptcy at all cost but he filed bankruptcy himself

Dave Ramsey is a JACKASS. I am a Financial Planner, so sometimes I listen to him on the way home and you would not believe how many recommendations he makes to people without even finding out enough pertinent information to even make a recommendation. He doesn't even get enough facts to make any type of determination.

Ramsey is pro Fed. But even so he should have stayed out of it.

I just love his "debt snowball" idea. It makes total mathematical sense!
